I also had an amazing content creator, Nicolette, who was so sweet and was able to pull together content through her own creative lense while still understanding my vision. I opted for a content creator instead of a videographer, and don’t regret this decision at all. I was elated to receive my reels the next evening, and have watched them every day since. We couldn't have made a better choice in using Heirloom Event Company to help us plan our wedding. Our planning timeline was only about 5 months, My husband and I lived in different countries and had to deal with the added stress of immigration visas on top of wedding planning. We wanted a planner who would understand our needs and someone we could trust to listen to our vision for the day and make it happen. Haylie was so easy to work with, always on top of deadlines and keeping us on track in the all stages of planning. She listened to our ideas and dreams and found vendors that suited and fit within budget. She found us an amazing coffee cart vendor after i said coffee would be awesome to have. We dreamed of it being a fairytale/ hobbiton vibes in the music, she found us a music duo who hit the brief perfectly. She helped us surprise each other the morning of and throughout the day. She communicated with vendors, understood the fine print in the contracts and would let us know what our responsibility was. She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. Haylie went above and beyond to make our wedding day our dream day and we cant thank her enough.

Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! When people ask us for wedding planning advice, we always say that hiring a planner was the best decision we made - specifically Oso Events! They are truly the best at what they do :) We could not be more grateful to them!

TL;DR: If you're questioning a wedding planner. You found your person in Shelby. She will be your teammate and advocate. Let me start by saying 5 stars is not enough for Shelby. What she was able to do over the course of a few months and the day of our wedding, and even after, is no short than a miracle. My aunt said it best, "She was just meant to do this job", and it shines through every conversation, detail, and edge she was able to walk me back from. I contacted Shelby originally for a month of coordinator. Soon after, I realized even for a type A project manager, I was in over my head planning an Alabama wedding from Philadelphia, PA. She walked me through everything and that's when I said I need her on my team and I need her skills now for everything between today and the wedding day. The best decision I made through the process (debatably even more so than saying yes to my husband) was hiring Shelby. She made the transition from what I prepped and thought I had under control to the most magical day I could imagine. I hired her about 5 months before the wedding. She always made me a priority no matter the occasion or time. I genuinely had the best wedding planner and gained a friend along the way. I am not exaggerating when I say, I could not have done this without her.

I actually can’t say enough good things about Wilder Mind Events, and more specifically, Demi and Delaney. Working with Miranda, Raquel, and Kylie was a true pleasure. Kylie assisted us at our rehearsal the day before our wedding, practicing the ceremony to ensure we understood the process and best practices for each bridal party member. Miranda and Raquel were there for us on our wedding date, helping set up decor, running to get breakfast for the bridal party, and being the point of contact with all our vendors. At one point, as the bride, I was getting overstimulated with all the pictures being taken in a short amount of time, and Miranda/Raquel had my back by making sure I had water and 30 minutes to center before our ceremony. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. What do wedding planners do?

Should we get a wedding planner?

Planners are great resources and can make planning your wedding much less stressful. If you’ve got the budget, a wedding planner is well worth the investment. Planners offer different service levels at varying price points. Choose the amount of help and cost that makes the most sense for you. At the bare minimum, you need someone (hired or delegated) to help manage the event day-of so you will be able to enjoy yourselves without worrying about too many logistics. If you decide to enlist a friend or family member to take on this role, keep in mind that this person will need to prioritize your needs over their own, and will no longer be attending or enjoying the wedding simply as a guest.
