Calmerin was the best investment we made for our wedding, hands down!!! Glennie and Ashton were incredible from the start to finish. We knew from the very first phone call that they were going to 100% on top of it, and we were right! The organization and detail of this team is top-notch. We hired them for Jade Package, which is similar to day-of-coordination (which is really more month-of), and was super important given our majority DIY wedding with 170 guests. Plus, Glennie and Ashton were such lovely, kind, and genuine people!! While the bulk of the details and communication was in the month leading up to our wedding, we had access to all of the planning docs as soon as we sent our deposit. The planning docs are AMAZING and so detailed, making us feel like we could transfer all of our knowledge/plans/thoughts to them. This was really important for us since we were doing the majority of the planning, and they executed phenomenally. We were also able to ask them for questions, such as a DJ recommendation. Glennie and Ashton were fantastic during the thorough venue walk-through, video calls, rehearsal with our wedding party, and on the day-of. We were able to drop off all of our wedding stuff (2 SUVs full) the morning of with set-up directions, and we showed up and it looked better than we had imagined/planned for! The tight set-up window from our venue was stressful, but Glennie and Ashton made sure everything was ready to go. They were so great at communicating with our vendors (we got many compliments!) They only texted us 1 small question the day-of, knowing that we were stressed and busy. They were AMAZING throughout the whole night, making sure we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. We could go on and on about how amazing the team was and how happy we are that we worked with them. Best decision, book them before their calendars fill!

She quickly understood our vision for our wedding and what was important to us. She encouraged us to make it very personal and unique--she never shot down any weird ideas we might've had but also brought an experienced perspective, while also keeping us on track with all of the little details and scheduling. She was so well-organized and professional while also keeping things stress-free, light, and fun. There were no questions too big, too small, or too personal with all the drama that can come with such a big event. Miranda was easy to reach via text/email, and took the initiative to reach out and schedule check-ins when needed to make sure we stayed on track with the huge to-do list that comes with a wedding. Her vendor recommendations & other suggestions were awesome, but she also respected a couple of the areas where we found our own vendors with no questions asked. She truly helped us get every detail settled, down to the napkins and our catering order details. She took all the stress off once we got to the month of and leading up to the wedding day, confirming with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about it whatsoever. Our wedding day went seamlessly thanks to her--it sounds cliche but it was the most fun and beautiful day ever and we were able to really enjoy it thanks to Miranda. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the SD area! She also helped us with signage for the day-of and did a beautiful job at a super reasonable price.

Samantha's passion, happiness, creativity, and heartfelt approach truly shone through in every aspect of our wedding planning. We had initially told ourselves we didn't need a coordinator, but Samantha informed us of so many important details we never would have thought of on our own. She went above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly, from arranging hors d'oeuvres between the ceremony and reception to keeping everything on a perfect timeline. We had time to fully enjoy ourselves and connect with our loved ones, all thanks to Samantha's incredible organizational skills and intuitive problem-solving. Samantha is honest, flexible, and so passionate about her work - you can tell she truly loves what she does. From the very first phone consultation, I knew I wanted to hire her. Meagan took the time to truly understand our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined. I had such a great experience working with Elizabeth Worrell Weddings & Events last month! Elizabeth truly went above and beyond, ensuring everything was perfectly organized and running smoothly. Even with a minor hiccup from the MUA causing a slight delay, she kept everything on track and made it all work seamlessly. As the wedding photographer, I especially appreciated how Elizabeth coordinated everything so well. The wedding was hosted at Estancia in La Jolla, and the couple wanted to head to Torrey Pines Glider Port for sunset photos. Elizabeth made sure we had 20 minutes for the photos and kept me in the loop throughout. After the photo session, we returned and transitioned smoothly to the grand entrance—it was all so well managed! The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and Elizabeth made sure every vendor was taken care of and that we stayed on schedule as much as possible. Her attention to detail and clear communication really made all the difference. If you want someone who genuinely cares about making your event amazing, Elizabeth is definitely the way to go!

Detailed, organized, friendly, and just an overall wonderful human being. We hired Karen for 2-month coordination and right off the bat, she was such a thoughtful planner and her willingness to guide us through anything and everything was amazing. I love a good spreadsheet and Karen has the best!!! Every meeting with her was so productive and we left each one with clear next steps/homework. The day of the wedding, everything went SO smoothly. Karen and her team took care of setting up all of our decor and they did so beautifully! When I arrived to the venue and saw everything, I was taken aback by how stunning everything looked — we had a mix of florals, candles, and fruit for our decor so getting everything set up was no small feat. Karen’s creative eye flawlessly brought my vision to life and I am so so grateful! Outside of decor, Karen’s organization, vendor communication, and speedy cleanup at the end of night was top-notch. We were able to truly enjoy the night, knowing Karen was there. She even took fun videos of the reception on my phone, which were great to watch the morning after to help relive the night :’) Literally each one of my vendors raved about how much they loved working with Karen — if that’s not enough to convince you to hire her for your next event, idk what is! SUCH a pro. Would 100% recommend Karen to any couple!

First impression, comfortable, like family. Jenn really makes you feel like you’ve known her forever! You can trust her; she’s honest with you from the beginning. If you ask for her opinion, she’s going to give it to you straight, no sugarcoating! Jenn is completely dedicated once she takes on a couple and cares about your special day as much as you do. I can’t tell you the amount of times she had to remind my now husband and I that our day was about US and to do whatever makes US happy; something you surprisingly forget when you’re in the craziness of it all. Jenn keeps you calm and eases you through the whole process. I did not realize how much goes into a wedding until I was actually planning my own. Last word of advice, ASK for her advice! Jenn has beautiful ideas and she is incredibly creative; especially when you are trying to stick to a tight budget! Thank you Jenn for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

My husband and I were blown away by the service provided by Heart and Sol Events! One of the best decision that we ever made was hiring them for day of coordination. Dre made the overwhelming process of wedding planning fun, easy and truly enjoyable. She is personable, down to earth and has a true passion for what she does. Her knowledge and experience in the field shoes. Dre and her team were there for us throughout the process and we could not have done it without them! A special thank to our day of coordinator, Denies Drum! We can't even begin to explain how blessed we were to have her be a part of our day. Denise was kind, genuine and radiated this calming presence that she carried with her throughout the planning process. She was involved in every detail from leading meetings with our vendors, to ceremony site reviews and setup, and even to discussing details about hair and dresses. She was patient and took the time to understand our vision and then was able to execute that vision with grace. Denise made herself available for several meetings via phone and in person with vendors to coordinate comprehensive schedules so that everyone was on the same page. I am positive that her attention to details and her continuous open line of communication is what made things run so smoothly on our wedding day. (If something went wrong or unplanned my husband and I had absolutly no idea because the Heart and Sol team had it all under control). All of our vendors had nothing but wonderful things to say about Denise and the rest of the Heart and Sol team. All in all.... WE could not have asked for a better experience. The day was better than we could have imagined.
