Stephanie Wooding (Owner / Lead Planner) When it comes to planning your event, it’s really about how that person (or team) embraces and uses that job experience in a resourceful and creative way. I’m a practical, organized, creative, resourceful, and resilient, “jeans and t-shirt” type chick. Well, the San Diego part of me is anyway. The LA in me is a driven, problem-solving, A-type, “take no guff” lady boss, that gets the job done on time, and within a realistic budget.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve been blessed to have worked at nearly every major hotel, venue, and theme park in San Diego. I’ve worked in the film industry as a 1st, 2nd AD, grip, and PA; the hotel industry as an Assistant Director of Audio Visual Services and as a Catering Sales Manager; the live event and theatre industry as a lighting tech/stagehand/stage manager and the special event industry as a wedding and event planner. I’m a firm believer in building a team that you jive well together. Even though our paths may only cross for a moment, let’s make this OUR moment in time and make the event one that you can call your #BestDayEver!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner than Stephanie from Best Day Ever Weddings. She went above and beyond our expectations and poured so much passion and heart into every detail of our big day. It was clear from the start that this isn't just a job for her — she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in everything she touches. What made our experience extra special was how collaborative she was. She took the time to understand our vision, welcomed all our ideas (even the unconventional ones!), and guided us with such grace and professionalism. She explained traditions when we were curious, but also fully embraced our personal touches that made our wedding truly ours. Stephanie was the perfect balance of professional and sweet — every meeting felt more like catching up with a long-distance friend. She’s incredibly easy to talk to, so warm and kind, and honestly just a joy to be around. Investing in her services was one of the best decisions we made. On the day itself, she made sure everything ran smoothly. We were able to relax and truly be present, knowing she had everything handled. e were having a difficult time sitting down and getting the ball rolling on planning our wedding, and felt super behind. We started working with Stephanie around 8 months before our wedding day, and from the day we met with her on, she gave us very clear goals to meet before our next meeting, complete with a checklist of everything that needed to be done. She uses a website called aisleplanner.com to host the checklist and various other notes and tidbits that relate to the wedding, and it streamlined every part of the planning process for us. I am fully confident in Stephanie’s ability to coordinate at whatever venue she is hired for, but her extensive experience at Sacred Mountain was a huge plus for us, and made things that much easier. Bonus points for the fact that whenever we expressed that we were having a rough time, she reassured us that we were on track and were on pace to have an incredible wedding. Which we did!! She truly went above and beyond. I would 100% book Stephanie again if I had to plan another wedding. Thank god and all that is good, I do not. But I would book her if I did!

Absolutely magical—hands down the BEST wedding coordinator ever! I can't even begin to express how incredible my experience was with Stephanie ! From the very beginning, she took the time to sit down with us and really understand our vision for the perfect wedding day. She didn't just ask what I wanted—she got us. And when I saw everything come together on my wedding day… WOW. It was everything we dreamed of and more—completely perfect for us. Her communication was flawless throughout the entire planning process. She was kind, responsive, thoughtful, and truly one of the sweetest vendors we had the pleasure of working with. On the wedding day, she handled everything—from coordinating with all the vendors to managing the timeline and ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly—so I didn't have to worry about a thing.
