Mia quelled ALL of my worries and blew me away with her skill and knowledge at every turn. Mia was seamlessly organized, deeply kind, and highly professional through the entire process. She started every meeting genuinely asking how we were in not only our wedding planning lives, but also just in our day to day. She truly wanted to get to know US and from that blossomed a beautiful relationship that didn’t feel contractual or forced at all. She somehow made it feel as if we were the only couple she was working with and like we were a top top top priority for her! Plus, her design suggestions are impeccable! She has taste and an eye for all things beautiful! Hiring LAE was the number 1 best decision we made for our wedding! QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR COORDINATOR!!! We are a queer couple and Mia was so incredibly supportive of us and our identities the entire time. She cared about and understood pronouns, family dynamics, and more without making it a big deal. She was 100% open to throwing tradition out the window when it didn’t suit us but also totally here for upholding it when it felt right. On the big day, Mia and her team, Macie and Tiffany, were early and on the ball! The second they arrived I could feel my nerves disappear knowing they would be overseeing every little detail. They came ready with every form (and extra copies) imaginable, dressed professionally and in line with our color pallet, and miced up for quick and discreet communication. Our wedding party and guests were raving about how kind they all were and how well they executed everything that day. As a couple, my spouse and I felt at ease and were able to let go and have a blast on our wedding day because we knew all the little details were in the BEST hands. We heard from guests that the shuttle had messed up big time and literally went to the wrong hotel. Mia and her team fixed the issue SO FAST and kept it SO QUIET that we had no idea anything was wrong and we were able to enjoy our evening blissfully unaware that our guests almost didn’t make it to the ceremony! Then, after the wedding Mia had already reached out to the shuttle company to begin dialogue about what happened and to request a refund without us even having to ask her! I cannot possibly recommend Mia and LAE enough and we will forever look back on our beautiful wedding day with fond stress free memories thanks to LAE!”

We had no idea about what needed to be considered when having a wedding, but Macy had all the questions ready and helped us think through every detail. IN 2016 2 friends of mine trusted me with their wedding. This experience fueled my growth, and I continued to coordinate and plan weddings under Weddings by Devin in the Richmond area through 2019. In 2020 I paused my wedding and event career, moving out of state for a new career opportunity. 4 YEARS LATER I moved back to Virginia, left my job of 8+ years in the corp world & ran towards my true passion of event and wedding planning. I’m the definition of Type A, organized & detail oriented. I thrive on helping clients navigate the often-overwhelming process of event planning to ensure their vision comes to life in a warm and intentional way.
