Hello, I am Rachel, the owner of Lamie Events. I specialize in Elopements, Micro-Weddings, and Budget Weddings. I am located in SWVA, but will travel anywhere for your big day! Fun Facts about me: I love handwritten Vows (yes, I will cry). My go to coffee order is a maple cream iced latte. When I’m not fluffing veils or cueing music for your big walk down the aisle, you’ll probably find me bingeing K-Dramas or cuddling my dog.

    Booking Lamie Events was easily the best decision we made when wedding planning. Rachel’s package was incredibly affordable, especially when you consider the quality of service we received. Rachel is so friendly and professional, and was very responsive to any and all questions we had. She was the perfect guide to answers any concerns or confusions throughout the entire planning process. She was willing to meet as many times as we needed, and was very flexible with our busy schedules. She carefully curated BEAUTIFUL decor, including so many gorgeous rentals from her own collection. She listened to and followed through with all of our aesthetic requests and helped to make our wedding feel so personalized but SO hands-off on our part. Even with things we weren’t sure what we wanted, Rachel followed through with something beyond what we could have expected, suited exactly to our tastes and personalities. On the day of, she carried out her perfectly executed timeline seamlessly; being available as much as we needed but handling any and all setup/ challenges behind the scenes (without any stress on our part!). She blended in perfectly with our guests, as a kind and helpful presence throughout the entire day. We wholeheartedly recommend Lamie Events for all of your wedding planning wants & needs! In a process that can be so overwhelming and stressful, Rachel makes it feel easy and fun. She is exactly was every couple would want out of a wedding planner, and was the perfect guide every step of the way!

    Rachel was very helpful with all of the major and minor details of our big day! She made the planning process simple and stressful free.
