At JLM we are dedicated to being with you every step of the way during the planning process. Johanna loves the process of helping couples realize their vision & helping them turn that vision into reality, which is why she takes a unqiue collaborative approach to the wedding planning process to ensure her couples vision comes to life in the most flawless, stressfree & fun environment possible! Having worked in the wedding industry for over 10 years, Johanna has a unique prospective on wedding planning, having worked as the senior planner for a local venue, she knows all the ins & outs of the planning process from start to finish!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day of team!
Words cannot describe how incredible our day was and how much joy we felt having the JLM team there. Johanna’s wedding industry knowledge is incredible and beyond what we expected. We had a private property wedding with lots of tent permit/alcohol license questions that needed answers. Johanna not only helped answer all of our questions, but gave us the confidence to sit back and enjoy our day! She was punctual and always a ray of sunshine! We also had a specific vision for the table settings and ceremony. JLM executed the decor flawlessly. We also hired Danielly to capture short “content creation” videos. This was THE BEST decision we could have made. It was such a treat to see our wedding in little snippets that we can have for the rest of our lives!

*Please prepare for a long novel of praise and gratitude for seriously one of the best and most IMPORTANT vendors in the wedding game** From start to finish working with Johanna and the JLM Events team was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our wedding. Full transparency - I was hesitant to book a coordinator due to budget being the MAIN factor for our wedding and frankly I didn’t think we could spare the expense. After finding out from our venue that it was a requirement to have a coordinator (turned absolute GODSEND) I found Johanna last June (2025) and from start to finish have been absolutely FLOORED by her dedication, insight, and complete understanding of our needs and wants for the most special day of our lives. Let me just tell you- Johanna will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for you and then some. I was so thankful to have her as an advocate during this process. As someone who considers herself very “Type A” I had no idea how much of a crucial necessity having someone like Johanna would be during this process. The vendor selection is overwhelming to say the least but getting into the nitty gritty of contracts, Plan B scenarios, and just overall comprehension of this business is not something that is talked about enough in this industry. With the guidance and wisdom of Johanna, I know for a fact our experience was as seamless as it was because of her knowledge and diligence. She checked in with me routinely leading up to our wedding year and then on a weekly/daily basis once our wedding year hit. Before booking the remainder of our vendors (which were a lot LOL), I would make sure to send her the contracts I received to make sure everything looked okay and with her guidance we were able to avoid some MAJOR possible disasters with some really important vendors (talking Catering & Glam…pretty important :) ). My whole point is this- you have no idea what you’re looking at or even the questions to ask, even if you think you do, you need someone like Johanna and her team as allies. We avoided these possible disasters because we had Johanna. And even better, once confirming that it wasn’t in our best interest to book said vendor(s), Johanna would be right there with other options for us that were highly recommended and most important- in our budget. I never once felt pressured or like that I wasn't heard at all with Johanna during this process. She received and heard every ounce of my wants and intentions for this day and for that, I am indebted to her. Our wedding day was such a sacred day and because of the team (led by Johanna ) we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Our main focus was just being present with each other and savoring every second- that’s how it should be! BOOK JLM DESIGN AND EVENTS, trust me it’ll be the best thing you do :)

I can’t say enough positive things about our experience having Johanna as our wedding coordinator. She is the best of the best (and we heard it from ALL our vendors!). It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the wedding planning process and to get lost in timelines and decisions, but having Johanna as a coordinator enabled us to focus on the exciting and fun stuff while making sure the little details fell into place. She is an excellent communicator, both with us and our vendors, and so meticulously organized. We didn’t stress one bit in the lead up to our wedding - and that’s because we knew we could rely on Johanna every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, Johanna and her team were on top of every detail and ensured the venue looked stunning, we (the couple) and bridal party were happy, and vendors had what they needed. Everything was so seamless and that’s all thanks to Johanna. I’d leave more stars if I could! THANK YOU, Johanna!
Incredible Planner - Organized and Stress-Free
We truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner. From the very start, Johanna kept us excited for our wedding rather than stressed. She helped us to feel comfortable and at ease with her clear and timely communication. She has exceptional attention to detail, and her organizational skills helped us stay on track during the wedding planning process. We had an incredible wedding day, and could not recommend Johanna and the entire JLM team enough.
