Courtney was the wedding planner of a wedding I attended. It was clear that every detail was well thought out and the event was a reflection of the couple and everything that was important to them. The venue was in a small town in upstate NY, quaint and charming, by the river. From the welcome bags at our hotel, and the newspaper with all the event details we knew we were in for a treat. The wedding venue was absolutely gorgeous, and beautifully decorated. There were thoughtful touches like the telephone to leave a message for the couple, the personalized watercolors of the attendees as momentous, and the sunglasses for the guests as we hung in the garden at the venue, this was one of the best events I have attended. And the band was outstanding, we danced all night. Courtney did a phenomenal job of thinking about the big and the small things. She is a true professional, who is thoughtful, creative, and detail oriented.

Mari is IT. My husband and I met with a handful of coordinators who all seemed qualified and capable, but none that seemed to vibe with our energy UNTIL we met Mari! Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. Mari was very good about holding us to our deadlines but not hounding us. When we felt like we were months behind she assured us we were in a good place.And then the day of the wedding, Mari and Anjeanette, were like the 1992 US Men's Olympic basketball team! Just two pros moving seamlessly, never missing. If we had a question, they had the answer before we asked. I always wondered how weddings happen without the bride and groom being pulled in every direction. Elle Events is how.

My wedding was this past weekend, and I still want to shout Amanda's praises from every rooftop! Hire her now! We had a complex wedding design: a full three-night, four-day weekend with several different spaces and layouts involved, and different guest lists for each day. Amanda handled everything masterfully. Every detail was exactly as we imagined (and more!), and she was a true joy to work with. My mother and I have different working styles and visions, and somehow Amanda found a way to meet both of our needs at each turn and help us avoid any conflict with one another. Amanda is highly detail-oriented and has a way of handling so many things "behind the scenes" and well in advance of the wedding - including crafting much of the decor and guest gifts weeks in advance, then personally transporting them to the wedding. It was efforts like this that really set her apart from other planners -- measurably reducing our stress each moment and taking things off our very full plates. We will genuinely miss speaking and working with Amanda. Our only regret was not hiring her sooner - she joined us after we had personally booked our venue and a handful of vendors, but having her with us earlier would have only enhanced our planning process.

Having no family in the area, I really had to lean on her for a lot more than I thought I might, especially when I was having issues with my wedding dress. She even came with me to pick it up the first time!! Greta has so many connections and really knows her stuff when it comes to weddings. Wedding Ninja with a special place in my heart for non-traditional and multicultural celebrations. Movies turned me into the ultimate romantic dreamer, leading me — an economics phd to quit academia and pursue my love for food, hospitality and events. Since then, I’ve made every kind of wedding magic happen for every kind of scenario you can imagine: from cinematic Bollywood-style extravaganzas at venues like The Bowery Hotel and St. Regis in Aspen, to more intimate celebrations at homes.

Seema made and saved our wedding many times over. We were initially intrigued by her economist background, but won over totally by her offering to handle communication with and incessant questions from our families. She never let on that this was frustrating or even irritating, though we can only imagine it was both. Each time we spoke with her, we were immediately put at ease. We dealt with several venues that were difficult to work with, and through each hurdle Seema calmly navigated us into a place of certainty that she would take care of it. On the Tuesday before our wedding, our caterers abruptly canceled. Seema let us know this information while also sharing she had multiple backup plans underway. She managed this so seamlessly we never once stopped to be anxious about it—in fact, we barely thought about it at all until showing up to our wedding to find that indeed there was catering present. Our venue was a natural wine bar, not accustomed to having weddings, and certainly not set up for it. There was not enough room for a traditional seated ceremony or an aisle. We went in with the understanding that this would feel like a DIY wedding, and to let go of any expectations of it looking a certain way. We hardly discussed decor or ceremony flow, relying instead on the bar's aesthetic. And yet, when we made our entrance, we were greeted by friends and families neatly arranged along the sides of the space with a clear aisle for us to walk through. How she managed to tetris the space so effectively we'll never know. We are two controlling, hyper-opinionated, exacting eldest daughters, and we felt completely at peace letting Seema take the reins on many aspects of our wedding. We shared our vision with her and were confident she would execute it. While we won't miss wedding planning, we already feel nostalgic of the times we got to spend with Seema.

On the day-of, Jenna was our coordinator on-site. She was equally amazinggg in helping us feel prepared, taken care of, and free to relax and enjoy our wedding day while so much was going on around us. She also did an incredible job setting everything up before we got to the wedding venue - we were especially excited to see how everything would come together, through the small details and touches that we had dreamed up and were still just concepts in our mind - she absolutely crushed it! Hiring DeAnne was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was an absolute dream, gentle when we had to make tough decisions, affirming when we finally made them, and endlessly supportive throughout, in what is a very stressful process. I have a background in event planning, and my husband (love him) was a little clueless and had a hard time with a lot of the design decisions. She was so patient and did a great job of explaining things in a way that made sense to him! She was able to transform Picnic House in Prospect Park into a beautiful and romantic venue that we had never imagined, and our guests are still raving about the details. Behind the scenes, she handled everything so seamlessly that we were able to enjoy every moment of our day without worry. When we say Taylor EXCEEDED our expectations, we truly mean that. From start to finish Taylor was such a calming and supportive presence in our lives. During the planning portion of our event, Taylor communicated with all of our vendors and made sure we were always on the same page. She was organized and had all of our contracts, seating charts, floor plans etc all in one google doc making it extremely easy to follow and stay on track. She was always responsive and answered every single question we could possibly have. As the wedding got closer, we had weekly calls to make sure we tied up any loose ends and that all the vendors were on the same page. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Taylor looked like a boss woman the whole time with her clipboard and made sure that she was keeping everyone in line and on track of time. There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! You can really see how much she loves what she does and how she strives to be the best she can be every step of the way. Shout out to her assistant Joy for everything she had her hands on, including being so delicate and gentle while steaming my heavy wedding dress and taking some incredible behind the scenes shots of our day and for just being another amazing person to rely on. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!!!!
