We were born from lessons learned by tackling the most important wedding to date; my own. A planner to my core, I never considered the need for assistance when planning and executing my wedding. And while I threw a truly great party, it came at the expense of me enjoying my own wedding. I took away from the experience the hard truth that just because I could, didn’t mean I should, and have turned that into something that I truly love; watching other couples bask in their moment, stress-free. We offer a variety of wedding and honeymoon services with the simple mission of creating beautiful, unique events that feel as good as they look.

My goal is to make your wedding easy, and to keep you present in each and every moment. We specialize in custom wedding packages tailored to exactly what you need, even if you don't know what that is yet :)

Have a vision but need some support bringing it to life? We work together on the big stuff, then fully take over operations 60 days out.	You get us to the venue and we will take it from there! We’ll run the show from the ceremony to the after party.

We could not say enough wonderful things about Lisa and Bisoux Events! From day 1, Lisa understood our vision and ran with it. We envisioned a very non-traditional backyard wedding, and she helped us figure out how to make it happen - often understanding what we wanted and needed before we did! She asked questions that helped us solidify our vision, ultimately helping our vision come to life in all stages throughout the process. From helping us find trusted vendors to helping us create a timeline in the months leading up so we knew how to prioritize and plan most effectively, Lisa was truly everything we needed in a wedding planner! She helped us ask potential vendors all the right questions. She was easy to talk to, and was reachable, responsive, and kind from day 1 of planning through the big day. The day of the wedding brought a few different types of unpredictable challenges (including rain!) and she was able to think outside the box to enable us to have our ceremony outside of the tent regardless of rain! This creative and outside the box thinking allowed us to have the ceremony we dreamed of. All other challenges were handled with the same respect, care, and efficiency. Ultimately - we had the utmost trust in Lisa. To the point that the day before the wedding, we said to her, “whatever challenges or changes may arise, we trust your judgment and will just say ‘okay!’ to your call!” We had the most wonderful night, so much thanks to Lisa’s help and support along the way. Could not have asked for anyone better for the job!!

First piece of advice before planning a wedding: Yes, you need a day-of coordinator. Second piece of advice: make sure it's Lisa. Lisa was such a supportive, friendly, and trustworthy source throughout such a demanding process, starting months before our wedding. Each time we met with her to go over details, she provided us with valuable insights and ideas about what to do, who to contact, and what items to add to our to-do list. She was very receptive to our ideas and always constructive on what she thought would work. And since she's done this a lot, we had a wealth of experience to help craft our own wedding. As the wedding got closer, Lisa was very communicative with everyone who was going to be involved. She made detailed timeline sheets that were super helpful, and which we ended up sharing with other people. And when we did our walkthrough, she took charge with the venue and our caterer, while being direct with us about what we'd want (the millions of small questions that come with a wedding). We felt like our special day was protected, and that Lisa wanted it to be the very US thing we wanted it to be. On our wedding day, Lisa was as essential as we had hoped for and more. We were able to relax (and enjoy our party!), despite all of the different moving pieces (sound, entertainment, etc.) we had set up. We were hardly aware of anything going on behind the scenes. When we did see her moving around the party, she was always calming and focused. If there was a problem, we knew she'd take care of it. As our friend who works for Bavette’s and Armitage Alehouse said after our wedding, Lisa was “like a duck. Furiously paddling under the surface, but serene on top."

Hiring Lisa as our day-of coordinator was truly one of the best decisions we made! From our very first meeting, we instantly clicked, it felt like we had known her forever. She’s so genuine and easy to be around, and she made the entire experience leading up to our wedding feel relaxed and stress-free. On the big day, there were a couple unexpected changes with our venue, but Lisa was able to come up with a backup plan in seconds and made it all feel effortless. Every detail was taken care of, and she ensured everyone and everything was exactly where it needed to be. We truly credit how perfect our day felt to Lisa’s presence and expertise. If you’re even slightly considering hiring a coordinator stop debating and just book her!! She was hands-down the most important vendor we had, and we’re forever grateful for her.

Lisa was an absolute dream to work with. From the initial planning, to coordinating all of our vendors, and then of course the day-of timeline, flow, and impromptu problem solving. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be a nervous wreck on your wedding day. Leading up to our big day I was cool as a cucumber so I truly didn’t think I would be, but the anticipation had my anxiety at an all time high. Lisa gracefully reassured me every step of the way. She will do it all for you. She will ensure that every last, tiny detail is perfect. But perhaps even more importantly, she has the warmth of an old friend. I can’t recommend Bisoux Event Co. enough. She made our wedding day incredibly special and for that, I’m so grateful.
