Shh Events comes from all of the experiences I have gained- all of the trade secrets- that set my experience as a wedding planner to an elevated level of expertise. Shh Events is a curator for love stories, and it's an honor to be a part of the stories we tell.

With a background in venue management and catering production, there isn't much that we are NOT able to do on a wedding day! Your planner is your protector of your wedding investment, you want to be sure you are hiring someone with experience, passion, dedication, and a vibe that matches well with you- after all, we are going to be celebrating one of the most personal milestones of your life!

Description

Micro wedding and elopement planning is very in line with our partial planning, the only difference would be the guest list! Pricing can be negotiated based on the scope of your wedding day, and the level of involvement you are looking to participate in during planning. We can scale up to full service or scale back to details management.

Full service planning is ideal for the couple looking to have expert service throughout the entire planning process from engagement through the conclusion of the event, and beyond! Full planning offers all our our resources, the owner as your lead planner, a dedicated assistant, all of the features of partial planning, plus additional resources and special perks! If your wedding was a book, think of full service planning as having a ghost writer!

Our most popular package! Planning starts immediately upon booking with all services provided in our details management package. A dedicated lead event planner and assistant assigned at partial planning levels.

For couples who have all of their plans finalized, day of coordinating, or detail management is the perfect addition to get your wedding vision across to the finish line. Pricing varies based on a few factors including vendors still needing to be booked, time from the wedding date, ceremony location. and DIY elements.

    Working with Shh Events was an absolute dream for our wedding day. From my first phone call with Stephanie I was struck by her compassionate, encouraging, and calming demeanor. Her deep knowledge of the wedding industry was indispensable, and her expertise is truly unmatched in the city. On the day of our wedding, Shh Events kept our massive wedding party running smoothly, handling all communication and coordination with the vendors so my husband and I could simply enjoy the day stress-free. We cannot recommend Shh Events highly enough - they were an invaluable part of making our special day perfect! If you are from the South side of Chicago, make sure you get a South side planner! They just get it.

    Steph and her team at Shh are incredible. We hired her for day-of coordination to be the point of contact and we're so glad we did. Her attitude, flexibility, love of her craft, and overall smooth organization make her fantastic at what she does. Our day had a few bumps entirely out of her control (one of my crew calling off, and a severe wind advisory making some decor nearly impossible) but she worked with the entire vendor list to pivot as needed and bring the whole day to life. (she even caught everyone up on time from me being late taking extra photos at the venue bar!) Seriously - look no further, Shh events will get your day done.

    I cannot recommend Stephanie and Shh events enough! She sent us some excellent recommendations for vendors early on in our planning process and made sure we stayed on top of everything with a plan. She was always available to answer questions and bounce ideas off throughout the process. In the month or so leading up to our wedding, she ramped everything up and made a detailed schedule and coordinated with all of our vendors so we didn't have to worry about anything! We had an extremely positive experience with Stephanie and can confidently say our wedding would not have been the success it was without her help! Thank you Steph :)
