They took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so comfortable with them, and they made the trial fun and relaxing. On the wedding day, we decided to add Natalia to the team after discussing with the owner, and it turned out to be the best decision. Having an additional stylist really helped speed up the process, and everything ran so smoothly as a result. They brought everything they needed, including lighting, and set up in no time. They were punctual, organized, and ready to get started as soon as we arrived at the venue. Throughout the morning, Eva, Maria, and Natalia were a joy to be around. They kept the whole group on time without making it feel rushed, which was such a relief with all the wedding-day chaos. They were also fun to talk to and kept the mood light, which made the getting-ready process so enjoyable. I had a bit of a rash on my shoulder that day, and I was really concerned about it. But the team worked their magic and expertly covered it – I couldn’t even tell it was there! They also added on makeup services for my mother-in-law at the last minute, which was so thoughtful. My mother-in-law was absolutely thrilled with how she looked and felt so special. In the end, I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day, and I have "Hairs 2 the Bride" to thank for that. Their set list truly sounded like we had hand-picked every song (we only gave them a list of our favorite types of music and they knocked it out of the park). We leveraged the piano player for our ceremony music and it was beautiful and a nice touch at a reasonable price point as an add-on.”

“We were looking for a modern, not-too-stuffy venue to host our summer 2025 wedding. We were thrilled when we found Walden and saw the beautiful, modern, space that would allow for the ceremony & reception in one location and that we could create our own vision of the day. The space is beautiful on its own but can be transformed into whatever vision you may have. With a late June wedding, we wanted it to be a colorful and intimate affair. Having the planning team on site made the process extremely smooth and it was invaluable to have their insight, experience and knowledge of the venue. Krystle and Katie were on the ball and there were no hiccups or issues during the planning process or day of (as far as we know!). They have strong relationships with our vendors (band, florist, linens, lighting, etc) which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to focus on other things. Catering in-house is a huge perk and the kitchen was top notch helping us create our non-traditional menu and food service. Bar options went well beyond typical packages in terms of quality of product and idea generation of drink selection and creation. Universally, guests said that the food and beverage were the best they had had at a wedding! Overall, we are thrilled with how everything turned out on our wedding day and much of that happiness has to do with having it at Walden!”

Jay & Nicole Vega decided to pursue a career together in the art of Photography. Met & married in Chicago in 2013, two people set out on a business venture of a lifetime. While Nicole is the main photographer of the company, we have also expanded and hired reliable, talented photographers to work along side with us, while still maintaining a small business feel.

“I cannot remember how exactly I found Glow Bridal Co, but I remember loving how understanding Tricia was when I did not respond right away due to being so overwhelmed with wedding planning. I was happy how willing she was to do another trial if I felt was needed (although i did not end up doing another one and I was happy with how i looked on my wedding day). I had a total of 5 people for makeup & 7 people for hair, not including myself. I do not remember the exact pricing, but I felt like they were reasonably price. The most important thing is I felt beautiful with my hair and makeup. The only thing I did not like was that Tricia and Paola left the hotel the day of my wedding without checking to see if I needed anything touched up one last time. My mom and I had stepped away for a few minutes, and, when we came back, they were gone. Thankfully, I did not realize this until after my wedding day, and I think i was fine, but i do think they should have checked with me before leaving. Overall, I am happy with the service I received & would recommend them for hair & makeup”

They made not only wedding day with our crazy families, but also the 3 months leading up to our big day a BREEZE. We debated not hiring a planner/coordinator since I'm a very organized & Type-A individual anyways & RPM Events providers a coordinator, but Olivia & Abby put me to shame with ALL their organizational skills, the little details I forgot, their experiences with other brides & vendors- not to mention they're overall just kind & fun individuals! From 3 months out, Olivia took everything over & we got to just enjoy the final meetings, picking songs, wedding shower, etc. with no worries, stress or bridezilla moments about anything else. 100% easily the best investment we made for our wedding when hiring Afterglow, and looking back we couldn't have had such a successful day with ZERO things going wrong (seriously, we were that prepared thanks to Afterglow that NOTHING went wrong). He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
