Toast & Jam DJs specialize in making people dance by working closely with our clients to create customized playlists that reflect their tastes. We reject line dances, props, and other gimmicks in favor of perfectly planned and well-timed soundtracks that appeal to every partygoer. That means no Hokey Pokey and no Chicken Dance. At Toast & Jam, we believe that a thoughtful mix of pop favorites, hip-hop bootyshakers, Motown classics, and timeless standards are fun and self-respecting alternative to those embarrassing and played-out dancefloor clichés.

Our DJs are super-talented and totally music-obsessed, but we aren't music snobs. We understand that it’s your wedding, and it’s all about what you want. We aren’t club DJs who took a wedding “for the money.” We love weddings and are honored to be a part of the big day. We work closely with your other vendors to make sure that the event goes off perfectly.

    Wayne with Toast and Jam is absolutely the perfect DJ for our wedding! As two people who clearly had never been part of wedding planning before, his explanations for each part of the wedding, ideas for where music could help in the timeline, ideas on how the wedding should flow, song recommendations, explanations of the wedding vernacular, and so much more were an invaluable help. Oh, this is on top of being a kick-a** DJ who perfectly created a playlist for our event. Obviously, everyone’s biggest question when looking for a DJ is, “How was the music?!” The playlist you created jumped seamlessly between the songs that we partied to in high school/college and the music that we dance to now. There were some items in our “have to play it” list that I wasn’t sure how he was going to blend them in, but he excited it to perfection. Our family loves to dance, and he provided the playlist that kept everyone dancing and having a great time. We can’t thank him enough!

    We hired DJ Paul Simpson from Toast and Jam to DJ our wedding and we could not be happier with how it went! The planning before the wedding was very easy. We met with Paul initially to talk about what we wanted to do and he gave us access to the planning site where we could list what we did and didn't want him to play. We met with him again a few weeks before the wedding to go over the plan and he executed everything we asked for perfectly! We didn't use a wedding planner so Paul was instrumental in helping us figure out how the day would go. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same venue but at different locations around the venue. Paul set us up with music and microphones for the ceremony. When that ended, he quickly moved to the cocktail hour to provide the music. After that, he moved to the reception area to announce us and get the music started. It all happened seamlessly! We also got a photo booth from Toast and Jam and were very happy with how that worked as well. Overall, this company really took care of us and made our big day run as smooth as we were hoping it would. Do not hesitate to book Toast and Jam and Paul Simpson for your event. You will not be disappointed!

    DJ Fredrick from Toast and Jam kept the dance floor bumping and flowing all night long. He was a great MC for all things and kept the party in line with our timeline. He went above and beyond ahead of the event to make sure the playlist fit perfectly for our wedding. He worked with us to add the Arab Wedding songs to keep all the aunties happy.

    Chris rocked our worlds!!! DJs can make or break a wedding, so going into planning we were pretty nervous about this decision. Our Coordinator recommended Toast & Jam and boy are we glad she did. From our first meeting with Chris we knew we were in good hands. He was able to effortlessly blend our wildly eclectic music tastes and hyper-specific cultural songs without batting an eye. He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.
