The Brooklyn Beats is the inaugural event/wedding band founded by music industry veteran, Jon Shiffman. Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers. We’re an original band at heart with big dreams, but we’re also just passionate about playing music together in general. We started doing a few cover shows for fun and really enjoyed ourselves and making people dance & have a great time. After learning dozens of songs we curated, we decided to start playing as a cover/wedding band. We have a lot of heart and always try to bring the best possible energy to each performance we do. We mostly do billboard hits covers in various styles, decades and genres. We try and stay true to the sound and feel of the original recording but also try to modernize it and give it our own subtle unique spin.
