What It Looks Like When the DJ Gets It

Music has always been my way of connecting with people. I’ve spent years DJing weddings and private events where the right song changes the whole room. I love working with couples who care about how their night feels and want their guests to feel included and alive in the moment. I do this because there is nothing better than seeing a room full of people celebrating together to music that feels like it was made for them.

I do more than just show up and play songs. I take the time to learn what feels right for you and your guests so the night has its own flow. I work with your planner and vendors so everything runs smooth without you having to think about it. When the party starts I am in it with you, dancing behind the booth, singing along, and reading the room so every shift in energy feels natural and keeps people on the floor.

    Peter was great. We had 3 calls before the wedding including the week of in order to make sure he could give us the exact wedding music/flow we wanted. He made sure to learn the entire timeline of our event and communicated with the venue as well as the av company to make sure everything was taken care of. He kept people on the dance floor and gave us the exact music style we had conveyed to him. He was a great communicator and a great DJ. He will tailor your event to exactly what you want. The venue was extraordinarily hot, and he didn't complain at all (most people would have). He was dressed very well and was professional as can be. Hire him. You won't regret it.

    We love Peter! He was so easy to work with in the lead up to the wedding. We were able to share with him the music we were interested in and he made great suggestions and played great songs right in line with what we were looking for. During the wedding, Peter made sure the energy was right at all times. When it came time for dancing he read the room really well and kept everyone moving. Couldn't ask for anything more. We highly recommend Peter for your wedding.

    Peter was a dream to work with - super accommodating with schedule and our atypical day-of timeline, arrived early and stayed late, honored all of our song requests, gracious, thoughtful and a total professional. He also has THE MOST burning remix of Nelly's Pimp Juice. People are still talking about it. He spun an epic party and we are exceptionally grateful. Thank you Peter!!

    Working with DJ Peter Piper (Peter Toussaint) was one of the BEST decisions we made!! We literally lost count of the number of people who told us afterwards that Peter was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard! Guests of all ages loved the mix he created and he had an amazing intuition for which song should come next and how to perfectly blend them together! People were on the dance floor literally the whole night and it was a blast getting to dance with everyone for such a long time. Peter was punctual, communicative and friendly throughout the whole process. Before the event, Peter had several calls with us, just to make sure he totally understood the flow of the evening and was happy to make any announcements we requested throughout the night. We gave him two Spotify playlists in advance, and he played many of the songs we suggested while adding several other songs we hadn't thought of ourselves but fit our vibe perfectly. It's also clear he LOVES his job and his energy and enthusiasm was infectious as he danced along in the DJ booth. We really hope he will be DJ-ing at other weddings we attend, because he certainly knows how to set a phenomenal vibe and throw an unforgettable party!!!!
