Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. We were so blessed with fantastic vendors on our day, but Mary truly helped us bring the whole thing together. From the moment we chatted on the phone, we knew we were in great hands!! With her quote, she sent over a proposed timeline for the day and recommendations of timing / number of photographers-- we used this to quite literally plan our whole day timeline around, and we were never running low on time; everything felt according to plan and never rushed. (Family photos were SO smooth!) Her level of detail is so special, and we loved the photos captured of all the hard work we put in on the decorations, venue, etc. as well as the organic human moments filled with emotion, silliness and beyond! She makes you feel so comfortable and ease immediately, which helped bring out the sweetness and silliness in our couples photos. We also got the BEST reception photos and loved how much happened on the dance floor or at cocktail hour that we didn't even see happen (because, you know, you're a bit busy seeing everyone)! Could not have asked for a better photographer, and we're so happy we had her for our day.

WE LOVE MJC IMAGE !!!! Mary is the absolute best !!! With any questions we had Mary responded instantly, she was fabulous with communication. If I overloaded her with questions, as every bride does, she would squeeze me in quickly with a zoom or ft call. She is super busy so her quality of response time was so appreciated. The second I saw Mary’s work, I knew I had to have her photograph my wedding. My husband and I had never done a photo shoot before our wedding, so we did an engagement shoot to get a little practice in before the wedding. Mary made us feel so at ease, we thought it would be awkward, Nope! Mary instantly felt like a friend we knew forever. Not to mention her pictures from both engagement shoot and wedding day are my favorite pictures ever taken. If you’re looking for a photographer Mary is your best option !

From the moment we met Mary, we knew we wanted her to capture our special day. She is an amazing human and incredibly talented - I mean, just look at her work and it says it all! Her photography style is just beautiful. From the start, Mary was very in-tune with us and truly listened to what our vision was and then brought it to life even better than we could have imagined. She was by our side throughout the entire process, even including on our wedding day, beyond just capturing the moment, she was helping guide us through the day. Mary was truly our favorite “vendor” that was part of our wedding day - we got excited every time we were going to talk to her ahead of our wedding and we were ecstatic when we finally got to meet her IRL - she is just such a cool & talented human! I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

You can expect about 50-70 images per hour of photographing (even more when you book a second photographer). But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

You will receive a sneak peek within a week of your wedding day!! Then the full gallery within three months.

I am the sole editor for MJC Image. Everything comes through me, even video. What I can promise are fully-edited, enhanced, high-resolution images that you will obsess over.

Sometimes, I’ll suggest one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. This will be something we discuss together and make the best decision for your perfect day.

I typically open my books 12 months out. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

If you're looking at a date marked off on the Zola calendar, PLEASE reach out anyway. I have two Lead Associates who are incredible and whose voices have become integral to the MJC Weddings look. I'll still be along for the planning process and every image will still be edited by me (and a little secret: you get a discount!).
