From the very beginning, Young was SO easy to work with and got right down to asking the right questions to understand what we were looking for in a wedding DJ. Young connected us with DJ TN who was phenomenal to work with. We told TN we want PARTY first, wedding second and he understood exactly what we were looking for! They handled the music, MC, and got our guests' energy up all night. Our guests are still messaging me on how much fun they had! We ended up with their photo booth package which was a great it with everyone. From start to finish, Young was always there to answer our questions and to keep us on track for our wedding day. I cannot recommend Young, DJ TN, and his entire team enough.

Anna and Lucky at Darling Buds are an incredible team. They led my husband and I through the entire planning process and were there for us throughout the big day. We had the best day of our lives at our wedding. People kept saying that I didn't seem stressed on the day of, and I said that it was true - I really wasn't stressed. Anna and Lucky planned the day incredibly well, and I was just so excited to marry my love. From the very beginning, they truly got to know us as a couple and asked great questions to find out exactly what kind of wedding we wanted. For us, this included a fusion of scottish and chinese traditions and some decor that incorporated our pets! They kept us on track with monthly meetings/powerpoints and stayed in touch via email between meetings. They kept within our budget and assembled a dream team of vendors. They worked very well with the team at our venue and with all of the vendors. Our family and friends also enjoyed meeting them and thought they did an amazing job. We cannot recommend The Darling Buds enough! They are both truly special and wonderful people with an amazing talent for planning weddings. We will be staying in touch with them because they are the best!

My wife and I went in search of an incredible wedding band and we found it with Ruby Wedding and Party Band. The whole team, from the lead singers to the sound and light techs, was amazing to work with. Every step of the way they were courteous, on top of the details, and available to hop on a Zoom or respond to an email with our venue and our wedding planner. They took it upon themselves to make sure power and sound were all taken care of *and* they even tried to make sure we had tenting for the outdoor wedding (it wasn't even their job) just to take a load off of our plate. I'd hire this band again and again, and, if they'll do it for our 5 or 10 year wedding anniversary. Thanks!

But, I do tend to request the ability to make choices for the dance-floor that rely on my years of dance-enhancing experience. I meet with my clients to determine what music they would love to hear and what music they do NOT want to hear.

We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.

She also created a fantastic guide to SF City Hall Weddings that she sent early and to help get us prepared. Richard was helpful and respectful throughout our entire wedding planning process. He worked flawlessly with me, my partner, and our wedding planner to pull off an incredibly fun reception. Richard did an initial call with my partner to discuss the general vibe we were looking for, and we knew immediately he would be a great fit for our wedding. Richard gave us a helpful questionnaire to fill out key songs and general musical interests (and do not play songs). Richard was also happy to jump on calls with us to talk through our questions and hopes for our big day. I especially appreciated that Richard was able to play some German songs for some guests who had flown in from Germany, as that got even some of our older relatives on the dance floor. People were partying all night thanks to Richard! Richard catered to our wide age range of guests, and even gave us a couple of bonus closing songs that were the perfect conclusion to the night. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Colin was probably one of the easiest vendors to work with. We chatted on the phone to get to know him, sent him our deposit and that was that! We talked a bit leading up to the wedding, but he and my photographer communicated to get on the same page/ timeline so I didn’t have to stress much about that either. The day of, him and his team were wonderful all day. They themselves were professional, and all his gear was as well. One of the things I appreciated most about Colin was his ability to be everywhere to get footage, but he was secretive about it, so those that are shy on camera didn’t feel pressured. My videos I got were AMAZING. I don’t know how many times we have watched the videos together or how many I’ve watched it alone but, every time feels like the first. It’s beautiful work and truly captured our wedding day and our personalities. We also got raw footage from him that had us cackling. It’s awesome seeing the day again through both the finished product and the raw footage. Thank you Colin for everything. I highly recommend Colin to everyone!!

We hired Brendan Reiss to film our wedding. Brendan was easy to communicate with and was able to answer all of our questions. The way Brendan filmed our wedding was truly magical. One unique thing Brendan did was filming aerial views of our wedding venue with his drone. He used top of the line equipment to film our wedding and didn’t miss any important shots. My husband and I were engaged in October 2023 and began looking at wedding venues the month after. We then finalized our booking with Redwood Canyon in January 2024 to give ourselves ample time for planning and financing for our big day on May 26th, 2025. Since we live on the East Coast and majority of our families reside in the Bay Area, we wanted to find a venue that could provide an all-inclusive package and bring our vision to reality - and Redwood Canyon checked all of those boxes... even going above and beyond. We are very happy with the entire process that led up to our special day and the outcome of our wedding. *1 year prior to the wedding* They kept us updated with some of the renovations they were making at the time. When we wanted to do a physical tour in June 2024, they fitted us into the schedule and showed us the actual colors of table cloths, napkins, lighting, etc. *8 months prior to the wedding* The wedding team sent us an invitation to the Fall Wedding Extravaganza Fair for late October 2024. We unfortunately couldn't make it, but they accommodated us by including our friend couple residing in the Bay Area to take over our place. Our friend couple FaceTimed us during the entire event to make us feel like we were there! They commented how it was nice to try out all the food options they had in the package to know what foods the couple would like to finalize for their wedding day. They also enjoyed the fun activities the DJ curated - there were two opportunities to win a prize from those activities. *5 months prior to the wedding* This was a two-hour call with the wedding team to go over our vision and details. I forgot the name of the person assisting us, but she was very patient and fun to talk with! She reassured us that if there were changes we'd like to make over the next few months, they'd be happy to accommodate. A few months later, vendors contacted us to further discuss additional details - officiant, cake, DJ, and florist. *1 week prior to the wedding* We had Jacoby as our amazing wedding coordinator and Ana to assist on our special day. They reviewed and confirmed details as well as what to expect on our Rehearsal Day, which was a day prior to our wedding. We loved their positive attitudes and professionalism throughout the process! *Wedding Day* Despite how fast and chaotic it felt, we truly appreciate Jacoby and Ana for keeping us on the right pace, consistently checking in with us, and making sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the day. If there was something I, my husband, our wedding party, and family needed, they were quick to provide it. They also knew where to put our decor and took some behind-the-scenes photos to share with us after our wedding. We had our photographer, Hayden from A Perfect Impression, who suggested all the right poses, shots, angles, and places to take our photos. Our DJ, Saul, was very accommodating with a song request and some changes that we communicated through email and text - the vibe of the ceremony and reception was perfect. The food was fantastic, the photobooth provided high-quality images that we could receive through a texted link. *Overall* If we could rate it more than 5 stars, we totally would! We are truly happy that we chose Redwood Canyon for our wedding - an amazing and friendly team with a beautiful venue that accommodated 80 of our guests!

For example, a few hours before our welcome party, there was a change in the weather and we needed to switch locations at our venue. Sandra handled everything herself and simply kept us updated along the way, and it even turned out better than the original plan! Another example, the train of my wedding dress ripped and was causing issues before guests arrived at cocktail hour. Sandra calmly used a sew gun to reattach the train, without elevating anyone’s stress level. These examples capture everything about who Sandra is: unshakeable, solutions-oriented, and deeply committed to making sure the day feels joyful and seamless for everyone involved. Sandra was so much more than a planner—she was a partner, a coach, a fixer, a guide, and a friend. If you’re planning a wedding—especially an at-home one—you want Sandra in your corner. Full stop.

We are so happy we went with Chabot Space and Science Center for our wedding. We wanted something unique that also aligned with our interests -- our background in physics, astronomy, and space. The staff at Chabot are incredibly kind and were quick to respond to our emails and questions. The space was incredibly expansive and unique for our guests. The planetarium ceremony was our favorite part, and we will treasure those memories forever. As an educator myself, I fully appreciate that Chabot is a non-profit organization and that my deposit/rental fee goes back to the community and staff. Thank you again for making our day so special!

We’re so glad we hired Spencer to DJ our wedding! He handled the audio for the wedding ceremony itself, MC’d the reception, played the music for the dancing, and also provided uplighting for the event space. Everything he worked on just went smoothly. The audio for the ceremony was high quality and just worked. He did a great job as MC, staying on time, announcing what was happening, and making everyone feel welcome. He did fantastically with the music too - we had a few specific requests, and he nailed them all, but most of the night we gave only vague instructions and he made a ton of great picks, keeping energy high on the dance floor. The uplighting he provided was beautiful as well and really elevated the space! Throughout the process, he was easy to work with, timely, communicated proactively, and was always on top of every little detail. We’d definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ!

Party Ardi is someone who does it all! He was an excellent MC & he truly helped us plan our program out. We had no idea what we wanted as far as a “program,” but he didn’t hesitate to help us create a nice little timeline for our reception! Ardi also took the time to meet with us Via zoom prior to the wedding, to plan out the timeline & also discuss music of course! He provided all the vibes & played us exactly what we wanted. Our guests LOVED the old r&b love songs during dinner, I loved seeing everyone’s faces when he’d play certain songs! The custom light add-ons are definitely worth it too!
