Where do we even start with Tavi -- she is perfect in every way!! She's that balanced blend that we all want in a planner of detailed, fun, and gets the job done. She was there for us every step of the way, but her magic really shined through when our venue had to change 2 days before the wedding. She immediately sprung into action, secured us an incredible new venue, and made sure all vendors were onboard with the new game plan, all without us having to lift a finger. We don't know what we would have done without Tavi and will certainly be recommending her to every single friend ever, until the end of time. On top of that final hour hero swoop, she made the whole wedding look GORGEOUS. There was not a single detail she missed. She took a random box of decorations we provided, and made a magical garden of eden out of it. We got so many compliments after about how seamless the wedding was, and so many said that if we hadn't told them about the venue change, they would have been none the wiser. That's the kind of magic Tavi can pull off. There's no one better.

I had a very short engagement and wasn’t even sure if I’d have time for a makeup trial. I’m glad I did though because I didn’t look my best after the trial. Before I could ruminate on it or say anything though Diva jumped and sent me a message saying that she knew we could do better. She went and got new products that suited me, which made me feel so special. I absolutely loved how I looked on my wedding day but even more was so grateful to have a makeup artist who truly cared and could correct things I couldn’t put into words. That and she did a fabulous job on my mother and MOH (who has the opposite coloring of me and said it was the best glam she’s ever had). Diva is brilliant and I wish I had an excuse to have her do my makeup again and again!

It wouldn’t be LA if our venue wasn’t in a strip mall! The space is in the historic Cahuenga pass, with our venue located less than 5 minutes from Universal Studios, City Walk and the Hollywood Bowl. Our Venue is a 3500 square foot space, complete with a 2500 square foot ballroom, commercial kitchen, bar, stage, and lighting/ sound systems that are equipped for live music. The venue has highly stylized areas, but the main ballroom is an open concept space that can be molded for anything from rehearsal dinners to cocktail hours and receptions.

I attended a wedding reception here, and I cannot say enough good things about Little Light Venue. The venue is beautifully designed and has so much character. The space itself is huge and adaptable, so it’s great for different types of events. The owners Nataly and Jessica are amazing hosts and really go above and beyond to make things run perfectly. There is truly no other place like it, and I’ve already recommended the space to multiple people.

I’ve been going to Megan Titus for my haircut and color for years, so naturally when my husband and I started planning our wedding, she was the obvious choice to style our hair and my makeup for the big day. In the months leading up to the event we talked about what I was looking for and she guided me on how to best prep my hair so it would be the perfect for the length and color I wanted. The day of, Megan did an amazing job. She put me at ease while she worked and the result was gorgeous. As a person who doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup, Megan still was captured what I wanted, a beautiful classic look which made all my features pop, but without making me look like I was wearing too much makeup. My hair was just incredible too. She gave me a deep rich purple to match our wedding colors and soft waves. She even incorporated the blusher and the small clip on hat that went with our New Orleans theme. I looked classic and elegant, but with a splash of edge. EXACTLY what I was going for. Do yourself a favor and hire Megan! She’s not only extremely talented, but a lovely person and a joy to work with.

Kate is incredibly talented, so kind, easy to work with, and not pushy with anything. What I appreciated the most was that when I answered her questions regarding what I was envisioning, she had picked out the flowers she was thinking (including design) when we met and it was more spot on that I could have imagined. I really don't like vendors who are super pushy, and Kate was nothing like that. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease with what I wanted. She is so talented in what she does and she was so kind that I immediately trusted her and booked her right away. On the day of, the flowers were so beautiful. When I entered the wedding venue, I was blown away. It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined - and I'm not even sugarcoating it. The wedding venue owner, my guests, and other vendors all raved about the flowers and absolutely loved what Kate did. I absolutely loved my bouquet (I hung it to dry and still have it with me). When I was first planning my wedding, I thought that I wouldn't need flowers because I was planning to go super minimal. But, honestly, I'm so glad I decided to get flowers. Kate was just so accommodating to my budget and vision. After one meeting, I completely trusted her and was absolutely taken by how beautiful she made our wedding look. After the wedding, my friends and colleagues raved so much about the flowers. And, the wedding photos came out so beautiful because of Kate! Please do not even hesitate contacting Kate to at least see what she has to offer. You will not regret it. Thank you, Kate! You really made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. I still remember the feeling of walking into the venue and seeing the beautiful arrangements along the aisle/arch and I started to tear up. Thank you for making our special day so memorable.

10/10 would recommend randall!! We booked him for our engagement shoot and wedding and we are beyond appreciative and impressed. RDL is the only photographer my husband and I could agree on. We liked his photography style, the quality of the work, the price, and his personality. He even guided us with the timeline to make the most of the time and photography. For both the engagement shoot and wedding day, he guided us and made us feel comfortable. We’re def not models but he made us look great! We were able to get some posed shots and some Candids. He was PATIENT with us and didn’t make us feel awkward at all. The day of the wedding, I got so many compliments from our families with how they appreciated his presence. He kindly directed people and was patient with us and our guests. Def professional guy and just honestly a good personality. He’s also priced well. Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. My partner and I’s venue search ended the second we ascended in the historical elevator to the penthouse of the James Oviatt Building. The Oviatt venue is a multifaceted piece of beautiful Art Deco history that lends itself well to whatever event you are trying to throw. In our case, they hosted our wedding. We will forever be grateful for their immense care and kindness leading up to, on, and after the big day. We met the President Gabe first, who had his own wedding at this venue before he managed it. He made us feel right at home and answered every question we could muster. Our one hour showing turned into a two and a half hour conversation where his care and passion for the venue and his clients became very clear. We felt a connection right away. He shared a wealth of great advise and reassurances and gave us an impeccable pool of preferred vendors. We were sold in minutes. Every event is different, but my partner and I did not feel the space needed any help to become beautiful. The architectural art of the space is breathtaking and unique from the valet area outside of the Cicada Club all the way to the terrace. We saved a fortune on a florist. Who needs one when everything is already so classy? Speaking of class, the Director of Events Lindsey took point on execution and was our resource during the planning process. I as an individual am not the most communicative. I needed someone with that attention to detail and she delivered. After giving her all the venue required specifications (seating chart, insurances, etc,) two conversations was all it took for her to equip the venue with everything it needed and make it gorgeous. It seemed effortless for her. Not a spec of dust or dirt to be seen and the staff was respectful, efficient, and welcoming. I had a panic attack because I forgot to ask them for valet and she was able to get her people on it without issue the same week as the wedding. (Don’t be like me, but that is a perfect example of how on top of it they are.) They had EVERYTHING we could have wanted for a downtown metropolitan wedding and then some. If they didn’t have it? They knew exactly where to refer you. One of my personal favorite features was their completely customizable LED lighting strips on the hedges that lined either side of the rooftop. We had them a bright warm light for dinner and then a cycle of rainbow colors for dancing. They are inclusive and welcoming to any and all who come to visit. We felt valued, respected, and well cared for. It truly was the best day of our lives and we owe it all to The Oviatt. I implore to to reach out to them. I can say with certainty that you won’t be disappointed and whatever it is you are planning will become a memorable experience unlike any other.

I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

Oh my god, the photographer we got didn't just capture moments; he captured emotions in a way that they are still shining on our canvases, frames, and on hard drive) It's really difficult to describe how good they are, so in short, let them capture your wedding and you'll be grateful that you chose them for the rest of your life, just like I am! The Moon Units made my wedding. It all started when my wife (fiancee at the time) forwarded me an Instagram clip of them because she knew I was set on hiring a live band. I took my sweet time to cast a wide net and to follow, interview, and compare A LOT of bands. We went out to watch our top two choices and when we saw The Moon Units' positive energy, ability to rock the crowd, and musical skill, we immediately knew that they were meant to be our band (just like when we saw the venue we wanted, we just knew). They are highly accommodating, musically versatile, and truly professional, Hollywood type performers who will seal the deal on upgrading your wedding from already great to one of the greatest your guests have ever been to. The three things that most impressed me about them during my wedding were: 1) they gave it their all on every song whether there were two people on the dance floor or the whole group (and believe me, your guests will notice this too), 2) they were able to improvise to seamlessly integrate with all my other vendors and moving parts without any interruptions, as if my wedding was truly an entertainment production, and 3) whether they were singing rock, hiphop (yacht version), metal, r&b, pop, Kpop, oldies, or jazz, they performed as if it was their main genre. We requested them to learn two of our favorite songs that we loved but were skeptical that they could perform because of how hard they were to sing, and man did they prove us wrong! Each of the musicians are friendly, multi talented/multi instrument, down to earth people who love what they do and have a great time performing. They output pure sound candy and also look great doing it. Your stage will be glammed up and filled out, and your guests will compliment and remember your band choice even more than your food, I guarantee it. My wife and I are now semi-groupies (and I'm not ashamed as their gigs take me back to the best night of my life), and we aren't the only ones! That's something that no Youtube clip or online review can really convey. Good luck and have a great time wedding planning, but hire The Moon Units!!!

Crystal is calm, efficient, and super personable. We hired her in February ‘25 originally for an Oct ’25 wedding, then pushed it up to a July ’25 wedding. We basically planned an 80 person wedding within less than 6 months and absolutely would not have been able to do this without Crystal. It was a whirlwind and Crystal made things much easier by keeping us on track with tasks, giving us vendor recommendations, and helping research additional vendors when we wanted other catering options. She gives you to-do lists after your calls, has various tracking lists & checklists; it was SO easy to collaborate with her. From a logistics standpoint, our wedding involved a LOT of logistics. Two venues down the street from one another (the latter for the dance party), the main venue required a 'flip' (using the same space for ceremony as the reception), valet, shuttles, separate bar/catering at the 2nd venue... But all of this was executed flawlessly. A few notes- our catering vendor did catch an important rental that was left off of an ever-changing rental order. I am definitely more of a micro-manager/anxious type and that made me a bit nervous. I had the slightest doubt whether or not all these details would be executed on the day of the wedding. Come wedding day, Crystal and the other day-of coordinator/assistant Kristen made sure we kept things on schedule and all goes went as smoothly as a live event goes. Crystal’s prowess came to life on the wedding day and she really took charge. There were a few mishaps but I think they were due to miscommunication; nothing that wasn’t fixed or detracted from the event! Overall, we were happy with the outcome and really appreciated Crystal’s efforts. We would recommend her!

However, I do want to note that I do require that the couple has a Day of Coordinator (not the venue coordinator as they are different). Otherwise, I will also charge for coordination services as that puts the burden of day of logistics on the DJ.

DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. He was great to work with for our wedding and we can’t wait to throw another party just so we have an excuse to use DJ Trey again!
