It gave the whole space this elevated vibe without feeling over the top. Just really cool and intentional. Working with the team was easy from the jump. They were organized, super responsive, and made everything feel low-stress. Even though we provided our own alcohol, they handled the bar setup and service like total pros. Our guests kept commenting on how awesome it was and more than one person asked me for their info afterward. If you’re looking for something that feels special and not cookie-cutter, this is it.

When we were planning for our wedding almost a year ago, it was so important to find a photographer we loved and were able to completely trust. We immediately knew after our initial phone conversation with Tyler that we didn’t need to look any further. Tyler isn’t just a photographer...she does SO MUCH more. Our wedding venue ended up canceling on us midway through this year. I was devastated but Tyler was there every step of the way and ALWAYS accommodating. She answered texts and was always available...even if it was asking for advice on bridesmaids dress colors. We ended up deciding to elope with family in an intimate beach setting. Tyler helped pick a venue and led the entire step of the way. I never felt like I was just another bride to Tyler. My grandparents who weren’t able to attend got to relive the day through our photos which is something I’ll cherish forever. We look at our photos almost daily and stare at them in awe...nonetheless, Tyler gave us a sneak peek in about 24hrs!!! My family selected Jamaica Bay Inn because it was next to a small beach cove accessible from the Bermuda banquet room. We gathered for a Celebration of Life event and wanted to fly kites in memory of our beloved that passed away. Sayyora the Catering Manager was extremely efficient and flexible with the menu and my special request. Christina and the banquest staff were amazing. Christina had to leave the room to answer another clients questions and made sure another banquet person was in the room until she returned. The food was hot and plentiful. We selected the Buffet Pasta Station (1 with chicken and 1 with shrimp), baby greens salad, delicious fresh fruit. Accomodations were made for my request for a gluten free menu. I was in the hospitality business for 19 years for major hotels as a Catering Manger and Covention Services Manager and my critical eye can be hard to please. But I must say that the attention to detail was above and beyond. I would recommend Jamacia Bay at every opportunity. My family wants to return for a family reunion or just a family luncheon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. Iman and Ali were very friendly and caring, it was very easy to work with them and we did so many pictures in the short period of time that we had for photos during cocktail hour. And the price wasn't high at all, unlike other wedding photography companies. Crystal and her team were phenomenal.  My wife Sara and I could go on and talk about their professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness and problem solving all day long but I won’t drag the review on into an essay.  The fact of the matter is we came into our wedding day with an 80% solution to achieve our wedding goals and with the help of Crystal Rose Events (and the help of a few friends of ours) we were able to get to 100%.  And if I’m being honest we actually went over our actual guest list count so in reality we got 110% out of our wedding day!  Thank you for helping us make our special day a little bit more smooth!  - Krishn and Sara

DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. He was great to work with for our wedding and we can’t wait to throw another party just so we have an excuse to use DJ Trey again!

The service was excellent, I especially want to point out the drone shots that made our wedding video so much better. The drone operator used it during the ceremony, at a park during cocktail hour, and pretty much used any opportunity to get more drone shots. Seriously, the way they used those shots was on another level! Our wedding looks like a blockbuster film!
