“I loved my wedding, it was everything I could've wanted out of the venue. I had My ceremony (outside) & reception (inside) and it was such a wonderful time! I did the family-style menu and all the food was delicious. The reception area in the all seasons room was beautiful with the light globe. The bartenders and servers were very attentive and polite. All of our guests loved the food, the chocolate fountain, and of course the late-night bowling!! The communication with the venue was my main pain point as I was appointed multiple sales managers as it seemed like they were going through a management change. I thought it was odd that I talked with the sales manager for all of my communication regarding the wedding up until the day of I was assigned an event manager who I met 1 hour before my ceremony. The sales manager was still on property the day of but I thought it was weird I didn't receive any information that I would be working with someone else the day of. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful and fun place to get married!!”

They made sure to check in with us when they could without it being too much, understanding that we were being pulled all over already. Pricing with George Street was very reasonable. We had to change the time for the second event at the last minute, and Mike was so accommodating — he even offered to bring in a third stylist to make sure we were ready on time. That level of flexibility and professionalism was such a relief, especially being from out of state. Hayley was amazing to work with. She completely exceeded our expectations — the hairstyles came out even better than the inspiration photos! She was kind, personable, and funny, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Eva did a fantastic job with makeup. Her airbrush foundation was flawless and lasted all night. For our second event, Chrissy did our makeup and absolutely killed it — the eyeshadow especially was beautifully blended and truly to die for. Honestly, the hair and makeup were even better than some of the artists I’ve worked with in NYC for other weddings! Overall, we were so impressed with the entire team. The prices were affordable, everyone was professional, and they went above and beyond to make everything perfect. It genuinely felt like getting ready with family — warm, fun, and effortless. In a room full of family and people who love us, I was equally if not more excited to see Ro’s and Hulda’s faces in the crowd. The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, but also the level of attention and care on the actual day is more than we could have ever imagined. We are so grateful to Chicago Winery. Blair founded BW Studio after hosting a number of non-profit events and finding herself completely immersed in the process. Once she realized her knack for event organization and planning, the studio was quickly born.

“Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!”

“We got married a week ago at Walden and I cannot say enough about how positive an experience it was! Krystle and Alyssa (our dream team of planners) were our saviors throughout the entire planning process. I hadn't planned on using a full service planner until I found out Walden included them in the venue rental and now I can't imagine planning a wedding without them! They truly made the entire process fun, even during the more stressful parts. The rest of the Walden team is equally as amazing - the catering staff delivered some of "the best food we've ever had at a wedding," as many of our guests raved to us! The bar team also ran such an efficient operation that there was rarely ever a line for drinks, so rare at a wedding! Both teams worked with us to accommodate special requests and really felt like they prioritized making our day feel unique and special. The space itself is gorgeous and requires very little extra decoration, which is a great money saver! The separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail, and reception really made each part of the evening feel special. One of my favorite parts was the getting ready room - so rare to find in a Chicago city venue! My girls and I all had the best time getting ready in the space and it made for a very relaxing morning to already be on site. I could write 1,000 more words about how amazing this venue is but trust me when I say that if you want to alleviate as much stress from planning your big day as possible - Walden is the venue for you!!”
