“We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.”

“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

Working with Justin was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our big day. With Skylark, we effectively "had our cake and ate it too." We were initially torn because we wanted the romantic atmosphere of live instruments, but we also wanted a high-energy party with our specific favorite songs (which a band is often limited by). Plus, full bands are insanely expensive. Justin offered the perfect hybrid solution. We were able to have a stunning guitar, violin, and cello trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then transition to Justin DJing the reception. It was the best of both worlds—we saved on the cost of a 10-piece band but sacrificed absolutely nothing in terms of quality or vibe. Beyond the music itself, Justin’s professionalism is unmatched. He walked us through every step of the planning process. But the true test of a vendor is how they handle stress. A couple of months before our wedding, our venue suddenly updated their outdoor music guidelines. We were in a total panic, thinking our ceremony plans were ruined. We let Justin know, and he responded immediately with a calm, "can-do" attitude. He adjusted the instrumentation to meet the new rules quickly and sorted it out without us having to lift a finger. He also went above and beyond to personalize the evening. We have a close friend who is a singer, and we wanted her to perform a couple of songs during the reception. Justin didn't hesitate; he coordinated directly with her to ensure the audio levels were perfect and the logistics were seamless. It ended up being such a special moment, and Justin made it happen effortlessly. And then, there was the party. Justin transitioned to MC/DJ duties and read the crowd perfectly. Because we chose the DJ route for the reception, we got to hear the original versions of all our favorite tracks. The dance floor was absolutely wild all night long. The energy was so high that at one point, while we were taking portraits outside, our photographer actually stopped and told us, “There is literally a rave going on inside.” From the elegant strings and the special guest performance to the absolute rager at the end, Justin executed everything perfectly. “Nelson and his team photographed our May wedding in Plattekill, NY and the experience was absolutely extraordinary! They were professional while also personable making the experience very relaxed and natural. Prior to the big day, Nelson was very communicative and helped design a schedule meeting my interests of different shots and perfected the timing. On the day of, Nelson and his team eased right in without a hitch bouncing from one location to the next and corralling us and family seamlessly while staying on time. There wasn't a single moment of concern or stress during photos! Now to gush about the product!! Nelson and his team caught the most PERFECT moments. My husband and I expressed early on that we preferred candid or organic shots and not so much the typical couple poses. And I must say, Nelson got it right! “Keagan did a wonderful job taking care of drinks and our guests at our wedding banquet!! His team was phenomenal and after talking to a few bar service vendors, I knew I had a home-run with Keagan who provided an all-inclusive package (minus liquor). His packages included different size/shape cupware for the different drinks, all the syrups and adornments for cocktails - I felt like I hired a true professional and could leave the details in his hands. Keagan gave such great attention to detail for the specialty cocktails! The cucumber slices were beautiful and generous, and they even cut fresh jalapeños for my spicy mezcalita signature drink. “So many great things to say about this venue! *Gorgeous venue & perfect location* Every other venue we looked at had these ugly-colored, outdated carpets covering the entire reception hall. What's unique to Greentree is the beautiful large tiles and chandeliers. Not only is it breathtaking to look at, but all of your photos will sparkle and it makes for a perfect blank palette for any color scheme! The rooms are spacious enough for all of your needs, yet so intimate. Since everything is in one area, the guests are always together and it never feels like people are separated. There was plenty of room for all of our vendors to set up successfully. The location is perfect - on the water with beautiful views. We had guests from all over so New Rochelle was the perfect middle ground! Not too far from the city folks but also not too far from those living further north. *All-inclusive is the way to go* We booked Greentree the moment we got home from our initial appointment! From day 1, Kristina was BEYOND helpful with everything from wedding details, to suggestions & words of advice. We planned and pulled off an incredible, full-on wedding in only 3 months and I don't think we could have done it without Greentree. Everyone was shocked! She made everything so easy for us and low-stress. This venue has a great reputation and whenever I mentioned it, everyone was so excited and surprised I was able to book in such short timing. There are SO many benefits to an all-inclusive venue. As a bride there are a million and one things to worry about - but this venue takes care of it all. No need to worry about booking all of the details like catering and a cake decorator. Didn't need a wedding planner either because of their amazing team! The cake the baker made was STUNNING. The cocktail hour had a huge, incredible variety of food and guests were shocked to find out we still had all of our actual meal courses to follow! They were so flexible and accommodated us bringing our own cultural traditional cookies to put out as well. *Super attentive & flexible* Bradford is AMAZING and helped us with our final decisions and decor! We also received a day-of bridal attendant and maitre d' who were beyond accommodating. My bridal attendant was with me the entire night fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, asking me if I would like a drink, and helping me with anything I needed. Our maitre d' Gonzalo is a GEM. I somehow spilled an absurd amount of chocolate from the fountain smack in the middle of my dress. Gonzalo sat with me for minutes miraculously scrubbing it off until it was gone. It was an impossible task but he did not give up until the problem was fixed. He also checked in with us repeatedly throughout the night, guided us to where we had to go at certain times, and made sure we were taken care of. As all weddings, unforeseen things happen. This team is super quick on their feet! Our wedding was in October and was blue skies just about every day of the month. Of course, our weekend there was an impromptu Nor'easter. I'll admit I was bummed as I was looking forward to the gorgeous outdoor setting and photos on the water. However, when I saw how beautiful everything was inside, I was moved to tears. For a venue to successfully pull off a change like that last minute and do such a beautiful job that I was so happy & grateful to have the wedding inside, speaks volumes. It was a perfect day and I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you all SO much!!!”

“When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5 photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find! Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. He helped us plan everything from our wedding day to our engagement shoot, offered his opinions on locations, and followed up with us the week leading up to our engagement shoot it as the weather was not looking great! Rich greeted us with a big smile, and made us feel comfortable immediately. It was as if we were catching up with a lifelong friend even though we had just met. I’ll never forget driving away from our engagement shoot and saying to my husband, “I am so grateful that we have Rich as our photographer!”. He made the experience fun and effortless, which only made us more confident in our decision to have him as our wedding photographer. About a month leading up to our wedding, Rich communicated with us often and scheduled phone calls with us so that we could go over the flow of the day. This saved us a great deal of time and stress the day of the wedding, and allowed him to do what he does, which is capture the organic, raw, beautiful moments. Rich took the time to ask us which shots we wanted specifically, and he was sure to capture them. He and Greg both brought such a sense of calm the day of our wedding which was so appreciated. They reassured us that everything was going well, and directed us in a way that made it feel natural. They captured all of the moments we wanted, but never made us feel like we were following a script or “plan”. My husband and I could not believe how beautifully they captured our wedding day! If you are looking for a photographer that is talented, kind, supportive, and professional, you need to schedule a call with Rich. “We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!”
