Emily is a Hudson Valley based couples & wedding photographer. Her philosophy in photography is that a genuine connection with the couples she works with are the key to intimate, emotional photographs. She’s drawn to capturing honest images; pictures that aren’t just pretty but tell real stories about real couples.

She shies away from the traditional style of wedding photography that is so often forced and lacking natural emotion. Instead, she creates a space for true connection so she can document those spontaneous reactions; your playfulness, joy, intimacy and everything in-between.

    Emily shot our wedding reception in August for 2025. She was seriously a dream to work it. So efficient and easy. We had two phone calls before our day to set the timeline up and figure out what our priorities for that day were. On the day she scoped out where to shoot the photos and then executed everything seamlessly. Even our bridal party spoke about how good she was. We had changed a few things last minute and Emily was so great with accommodating us. We cannot thank her enough for helping to make our day so special and documenting all the sweet moments we didn’t want to forget. Thanks Emily!!

    We truly couldn’t have been happier to have booked Emily for our wedding. She was kind, communicative and detail-oriented, from a full shot list prepared ahead of time to finding little moments from the day that we forgot to tell her about in advance. We, our family and friends all felt that Emily was a pleasure to have around on the wedding day. She was down for anything, including being out in the rain to capture us making s’mores over the fire.     I was overwhelmed when navigating how to choose a wedding photographer. I knew I wanted someone whose work accurately reflected the day and the people photographed, what better way than choose someone who had photographed me beautifully at a wedding! Emily was the photographer at my now SIL & BIL’s wedding. I loved her editing style and her speed of getting the right picture. I have never really loved how I look in photos, and I am hardly in front of the camera. At our engagement photoshoot at home, Emily made me feel completely at ease, and really captured great angles and unique ideas! Not only did I love how she photographed me, but I loved that it was honest. Emily shot our welcome party and our wedding. It was like see an old friend! Our guests were in awe of the photos and loved Emily’s personality. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and possibly the most gorgeous I have ever attended, I am so glad I trusted Emily to capture the memories! What will not be shared on her public gallery are all the photos of our nieces and nephews! Emily photographed my SIL & BIL at our wedding and it was so heart warming and deeply meaningful! She was able to capture all the squirming kids in a fun way! She is truly talented and I am so grateful to have these memories for life!

    We absolutely loved working with Emily for our wedding! After doing an engagement shoot with her a year ago, it felt so natural to pick up right where we left off. She has an incredible eye, and we truly can’t stop looking at the stunning photos she captured—they’re everything we hoped for and more, and that was only the sneak peaks! (Of which there were over 100, the Monday after our wedding)! Emily made us feel completely at ease throughout the day and was warm, calm, and professional from start to finish. She was also incredibly communicative and available throughout the entire process, which gave us so much peace of mind. She worked seamlessly with our videographer and our venue. We’re so grateful to have had her document such a special moment in our lives. Highly, highly recommend!
