The communication from the Whitby Castle team was lacking and inconcise, which made some parts of the planning process more difficult than it needed to be. However, the venue itself was an excellent space for the value, and the facility was in good condition, though not exceptional. One highlight was that the set up and clean up went very smoothly, which allowed us to fully enjoy our special day. Overall, Whitby Castle provided a solid space for our wedding, though the customer service could have been better.

My husband and I got married at Whitby on 11.8.2024 and it was a better day than I could have ever dreamed of! Whitby was the venue I had always dreamed of. It is absolutely stunning to begin with. The food was incredible across the board (highly recommend upgrading to the sushi chef for cocktail hour - my guests couldn't stop talking about it!) The entire staff was amazing to work with. Niki was so responsive to me while planning and always helped with every detail and Ralph made sure the entire day went off without a hitch. I could not recommend more. Multiple of our friends and family still keep telling us it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, and that is definitely because of Whitby!
