First and foremost, we are so glad that we hired Jill to help coordinate our wedding. She is a creative and communicative team player who worked seamlessly with our venue and vendors to ensure that our big day turned out fabulous. Even though we booked an inclusive venue that came with a day-of coordinator, I wanted to find a month-of coordinator/planner, because our wedding had quite a few moving parts, and I knew I would be overwhelmed if we didn't hire help. We were so excited when we met Jill; we knew immediately that she was "our people" and felt confident that she would be able to handle keeping all of our external vendors coordinated, our extra-large immediate families updated, as well as helping the venue staff set up our maker-themed wedding supplies and decor on the day of the event. Working with Jill as a wedding planner was easy and stress-free every step of the way. She was prepared to communicate in all the methods that were most comfortable for us (including shared Google sheets, emails, texts, and video chats), and was equipped to troubleshoot the handful of last-minute hiccups we encountered so that we did not need to worry about them. It is also worth noting that our venue's event coordinator reported that Jill was easy to collaborate with, both in terms of communication leading up to our wedding, and making all the magic happen on the date. We are also working with Jill in her role as a travel agent to plan our honeymoon for this coming winter. There was some confusion around the process of actually getting assigned a day-of coordinator due to lack of communication, which added some stress around the 3-week mark. Once we had that sorted out and we were actually paired with our coordinator, everything went super smoothly and we were extremely happy with the service we received. We were on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator and ultimately it was the best decision we could've made. Kumbah was incredible and our wedding would've been a wreck without her!

Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

We cannot recommend Jackie enough! Jackie was essential in our wedding planning and coordination. She was extremely responsive, organized and proactive. If you are planning your first (and hopefully last!) wedding, go with Jackie. She has the experience, knows what she is talking about, has a great vendor list, knows what to expect and most importantly is an excellent problem solver. I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. She guided myself and my partner though logistics for the wedding day and then on the wedding day, she was proactive, did an excellent job wrangling our guests and bridal party. When the weather didn't cooperate, she took charge and helped keep things moving smoothly for us and our guests. Jackie also had excellent vendor recommendations, many of which we ended up going well and we are so happy we did. As a gay couple, it was also really important for us to partner with someone that was excited about planning a gay wedding and Jackie was not only enthusiastic but understood our vision and contributed great ideas. Wow! Erica was truly a godsend. She joined our vendor team just three weeks out from our wedding date, and we are beyond grateful she did! My husband and I were planning a wedding at a private home in Hancock Park for 120 guests, and we were doing our best to handle everything on our own. About a month before the big day, we realized how stressed we were and that we desperately needed a day-of coordinator if we actually wanted to enjoy our wedding. Enter Erica. From the very first call, she was responsive, flexible with scheduling, proactive, and such a clear communicator. She walked us through exactly what she would provide, but in the end she went above and beyond in every single way. As soon as we shared our vendor contacts, she immediately introduced herself as the point of contact, ironing out details, troubleshooting issues we did not even know existed, and helping us think through last-minute tasks and potential concerns. She was incredibly thorough in learning my vision for the day, and she absolutely nailed it. Our wedding went seamlessly thanks to her. She elevated empty spaces like the bars with extra flowers and candles that I had not even thought to place, and the effect was beautiful. If there were any problems on the wedding day, I truly had no idea because she handled everything so gracefully. She protected our peace, made sure we felt cared for, and kept things moving along even as my husband and I made changes to the schedule in real time such as photos running long or guests arriving early. Our guests even commented on how helpful she was in directing them and keeping the flow going. Erica also anticipated the little things that made such a difference. When it came time to cut the cake, I suddenly realized I had forgotten to set out the cake-cutting tools, but of course Erica had already taken care of it. She ensured our vendors were well-fed and even checked for dietary needs. She managed transportation hiccups, including calming me down during an 11pm panic call, and oversaw cleanup so well that when we returned to the house the next day it was pretty much spotless. What impressed me most was how she worked so diligently behind the scenes without ever inserting herself unnecessarily. I barely saw her the entire day, yet everything ran like clockwork. At the same time, she is warm, sweet, and genuinely kind. She looked out for us in every way and made sure we could actually soak in and enjoy our wedding. We had originally considered paying a friend to be our coordinator, and looking back, that would have been absolutely crazy. Hiring Erica was one of the best decisions we made. She made our wedding not only possible, but magical. I would recommend her a thousand times over. Hopefully I will not be getting married again, but if I did, I would not dream of doing it without Erica.

As a wedding photographer I feel like I can confidently say that it’s rare to find a coordinator as amazing as Emily! The amount of work she puts into weddings is beyond anything I’ve seen from other coordinators, and on top of that she is such a fun and easygoing person to work with. Before we even met I remember emailing back and forth with Emily and just thinking “wow this lady is doing sooo much for this couple” and it showed through on their wedding day. The details, vendors, and the couple’s vision for the day totally came across flawlessly and I know the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled with the way their day ran. One of my favorite things about Emily is that she is so willing to work with other vendors. Coordinators are typically the ones calling ALL the shots for a wedding (other than the bride, of course) so it’s not uncommon for coordinators to ignore requests from other vendors. This is not the case with Emily. Not only did she want to hear from me about what I thought would work for the photo timeline, she also listened to my suggestions over a phone call and implemented them! It’s always such a relief when the coordinator wants to make the day run smoothly for the bride and groom and the vendor team! Best money I ever spent! I was the type of bride that didn't originally want a wedding as I was terrified of the planning process and didn't want to end up working my wedding instead of enjoying it. Melanie 100% made this whole process seamless and dare I say I even started enjoying the process because she took all the guess work out for us. Instead of having hundreds of options to sift through, she heard our vision and budget and suggested a handful of truly amazing vendors for us to choose from. She was with us every step of the way communicating with them and answering our questions so nothing fell through the cracks. When the day came, she made our vision a reality some and we were able to relax and simply enjoy our day knowing everything was being taken care of. She has always been the best in Brooklyn (that’s why she is on almost every preferred vendor list in town!!!) and now that she is bicoastal in LA, too, she gets to expand her absolutely amazing business - but also that means you should book her ASAP before somebody else nabs her.

We had THE BEST experience working with Jessica from Amethyst Event Productions! During the whole wedding process, Jessica made us feel so at ease about all the tasks leading up to our wedding. Right from the start, Jessica was friendly, helpful, and professional! Jessica was amazing about checking in and making sure we were always on track in our planning. Her communication was AMAZING! She always responded promptly to any questions we had and was always proactive about reaching out to us when deadlines were approaching. It felt like we were always a priority and that Jessica was fully invested in helping us have an amazing wedding day. Jessica helped us communicate with our vendors. She not only coordinated vendor load in and strike, but she also read over the language of all of our vendor contracts prior to signing and helped get all of our certificates of insurance. I truly felt like I never had to worry throughout our wedding planning! Jessica was always there to support, problem-solve, and offer sage advice. She truly helped us bring our wedding vision to life and always had our backs! On the day of the wedding, Jessica was the perfect balance of being calm and cool but also really knew how to get things done! At the end of the night, she made sure all of our items were packed away and made it home with us. Jessica is a gem! Working with Bliss Wedding Planners was one of the most important decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. Looking back at the way our wedding unfolded day to day, we realized that Sehar and her team were a very big reason why everything flowed so seamlessly. From making sure vendors were on time and communicating well with each other while also prioritizing us and our requests and vision, Bliss Wedding Planners really did it all! We got married in May of 2022 in Houston and started planning with Sehar in Jan of 2021, knowing we were going to be in line with many who had put their weddings on hold during the pandemic. Sehar always made us feel important as her clients all while we were still traveling for work from California to New York, answered our questions in a timely manner, and met with us in person to discuss the details as the wedding got closer and closer.
