Dickens Opera House was an absolute pleasure to work with for the wedding. Their communication style was quick, communicative, and caring - they were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. The venue itself was even more impressive in person, with lots of natural lighting, wonderful private rooms, a full bar, and an elevator for guests who couldn't or didn't want to use the stairs. They went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly, accommodating our specific food requests and making sure we got exactly what was wanted. I highly recommend Dickens Opera House to any couples looking for a beautiful, versatile wedding venue with a wonderful staff.

The Ashley Ridge Wedgewood team went above and beyond! Our wedding was more perfect than we even imagined and our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to. Our coordinator, Calypso, was absolutely phenomenal from the beginning of the planning process through the entire day of. She gave wonderful suggestions when we were unsure of something during planning and executed everything perfectly the day of. It was so nice to have full trust in her and not have to worry about anything! Dylan was our banquet captain and he was just as amazing making sure that my wife and were always taken care of. We also could not have asked for better day of staff as well to make our day perfect. Thank you Quinn, Sierra, Nolan, Janie, Kira and Sydney for everything! Madeline with DJ Maestro was the perfect fit for us. She kept our timeline in order, played the perfect music and really made the day fun. The food was absolutely delicious and they have many options for appetizers. It was also nice that we could order a stuffed pepper separated for any vegans or vegetarians. Lastly, it was a relief that the venue cleaned up everything and repacked our decorations at the end of the night and loaded them into the car. It was so nice that they handled so many things in house and work directly with companies to make the planning less stressful. I appreciated not having to set up/clean up or go and find our own caterer, florist, DJ, baker, etc. We truly were able to enjoy every part of our day without any stress. Choosing Ashley Ridge was the best decision we made for our wedding. Thank you for truly making it the best day of our lives!

Hosted a wedding for 80 people at The Grange and it was perfect! Beautiful building and covered outdoor space. Great options to customize the space included having the large garage style doors open, gas fireplaces, heaters, adjustable lighting, variety of table sizes, plenty of chairs and a sound system. The kitchen and bar area were great since the party was self-catered. The Grange staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this venue and the price cannot be beat!

We just had the most amazing wedding at Wedgewood Wedding’s Black Forest venue! We planned our wedding from out of state and the entire planning crew made it so easy for us right from the beginning. Lindsey is absolutely phenomenal! We had worked with her when we virtually explored the venue and on some of the detail calls so we were super excited to hear she was our day of coordinator! She made our wedding day special! Along the planning process we worked with Mo, Alex and Yvonne who all made the planning process so simple (and shoutout to their binder which helped us prepare for each meeting). Kaylee was our banquet captain and took over the night after dinner. She did a wonderful job making sure we had all the food and drinks we could want. And she helped clean everything up at the end of the night. We didn’t have to do anything but enjoy ourselves the entire night, it is definitely a wedding we want to relive over and over! We booked the premier package so we had everything included we wanted. This included the most gorgeous acrylic invites! We added their lawn games which was a fun touch for all the non-dancers at the wedding. We got Tyler H from DJ Maestro included and he was great, changing the music to fit the mood throughout the night and rolling with last minute song adjustments! Our cake was not only beautiful but also delicious and Icing on The Cake was so easy to work with! Frank made a delicious spread of food! They made sure we got a plate of appetizers and a moment to enjoy just ourselves right after the ceremony. And they even gave us an extra plate of appetizers at our head table since we were so excited for them! The buffet had so many options, everyone was able to enjoy. The late night tater tot bar was a hit and needed for the great open bar! Dave made sure to make our specialty cocktails exactly how we like! Although their indoor ceremony space was a perfect backup, we loved the outdoor ceremony space! And even though there was a little bit of rain around the ceremony, they provided clear umbrellas to make sure we could say our vows out in front of the beautiful forest. We would not have been able to have the wedding we did without everyone at Black Forest’s help! Highly, highly recommend!

Once upon a time there was the most perfect wedding venue called The Oaks - from the staff to the service, the grand foyer, the suites, the food, the drinks, the party....just....1,000%. If you are thinking about booking it, please do snag that date ASAP as they become fully booked. It's not their fault they're so popular... I got married recently and was lucky enough to snag our date for 2025 in the summer of 2024, and things could not have been more perfect from the initial visit with ALEX LEIGH until the very last sendoff. Alex, (you rock!!!!!) our coordinator, was the one who helped all of our dreams come true.. She was truly the heart and soul of our wedding day and the fairy godmother of weddings. Forgot a lint brush? She has it. Bobby pins? Check. Don't know how to fill out your wedding license or where to stand at the ceremony? Yes she can do that too. At one point in the night she delivered me champagne and even helped me adjust and bustle my dress. Hello- this girl has it all. Alex literally coached us throughout so we could make the day as flawless as possible. Nothing was ever too much and she has the patience of a saint throughout the entire planning process, she was a dream to work with. For a bride who planned her entire wedding herself, who thought she thought of everything, ALEX was the one who was one step ahead of my Type A behind that night!! She truly never ever missed a beat for a good 15 months of our planning process. She had wonderful recommendations from decor to vendors (they have an amazing list of preferred vendors), to in-house food. From the very beginning, her friendly and approachable demeanor made planning feel so easy and enjoyable. She always made time to answer questions, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every little detail was handled perfectly. I also appreciated the thoughtful service the Oaks provided. An A staffing group helps your day go smoothly with packing and unpacking your car, they truly delivered white glove service which was highly valued and fairly priced. ZANDER particularly stuck out to all of us offering golf cart rides down the hill for some guests to serving us appetizers when we sat down because we had missed them. Literally he was always so smiley and nice, I just appreciated the entire staff so much that day. They should be praised!! The day's timeline ran seamlessly, every vendor was exactly where they needed to be, and the entire day flowed effortlessly thanks to their impeccable organization and calm, confident presence. At our tasting earlier this year, Luna Justin and Anna were also sooo welcoming! Staff and leadership are amazing!! It's getting harder and harder to find exceptional service in 2025 but the Oaks nails it. Chef Rhett also delivered incredible food for us all, the gouda mac and cheese and steaks?! TO DIE FOR! Delicious! The place is a perfect blank slate to add your own flair and they will allow you to craft your dream day however you'd like! I felt completely at ease knowing Alex and team were managing everything behind the scenes, which allowed me to be fully present and just enjoy the day. Truly a class act, Alex combines professionalism, warmth, and top-tier management skills in a way that truly sets her apart. We love you Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in AWE. Number 1, having a wedding coordinator is a must. And Natalie was amazing!! She took care of everything, from planning meetings, final meetings, rehearsal, day of timing and keeping everything on track. She is marvelous. This venue is mostly all included, DJ, catering, table settings, center pieces. And I love that you can do the ceremony and reception all in once place. It has the coziest mountain feeling to it while still being extremely classy. Food tastes amazing, the DJ service is very personalized - and they help you the whole entire way. You get this giant planning book once you officially book & it really helps. Anytime we had random concerns or questions we would just email them and be contacted back within the same day. The price fully depends on how many guests you plan on having, we had a 53 person wedding and it was VERY affordable for an all included place. They also do all your day of set up including any decor you choose to provide at the rehearsal! You also get access to the bridal / groom suites a few hours before the ceremony. Wedgewood made the planning actually fun and enjoyable! I was stress feee the entire day! Lots of adorable places for photos too, especially in the fall with all the colors. Thank you Wedgewood for making mine and Tyler’s day PERFECT.

My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

We cannot recommend Two Penguins highly enough! Kris and her entire team made our 130-guest wedding absolutely magical. The day before our wedding, rain was forecasted right when we had planned our patio ceremony. Kris walked us through indoor options with such calm confidence that we felt completely at ease about changing our plans. When torrential downpours hit during our actual ceremony time, we were so grateful for her foresight! She even handled last-minute adjustments to the guest entrance to keep everyone dry, all with complete professionalism. The entire team was phenomenal. They were friendly, efficient, and genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. The open bar service was top-notch, and all the food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the mac and cheese, French fry bar, and Brussels sprouts. They were crowd favorites! The venue was ideal for our group, with plenty of room for guests to sit and visit while also having ample space for dancing. Since we got married on a Sunday, we had access to both the Fireplace room and the main bar area, which created the perfect layout for our reception. The team helped create that relaxed, joyful party atmosphere. Despite weather challenges, our wedding day was flawless. We received countless compliments from guests about the venue, food, and service. Thank you, Kris and team, for exceeding every expectation! I highly recommend Two Penguins to anyone wanting a fun, casual wedding with exceptional service, delicious food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day beautiful.
