The Oaks is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue nestled in the rolling hills of Castle Rock, Colorado. Just 25 minutes south of Denver, the location boasts stunning natural surroundings with incredible views of the castle-shaped butte in the center of town. Overlooking the 18th hole of the beautiful Plum Creek Golf Course, The Oaks is truly a spectacular destination. The Ballroom boasts two-story vaulted ceilings with massive oak beams and dramatic windows. Our Art Deco-inspired cocktail lounge is sure to impress your guests with its chic design. You'll enjoy two distinct getting ready spaces — a private bridal suite and spa and the groom’s room featuring a state-of-the-art golf simulator. Our full-service approach to weddings will make your planning process and your wedding day easy and fun! We provide in house culinary and bar services, tables and chairs, linens and place settings, service staff and an event day coordinator. We can’t wait to connect with you!

MY FAVE VENUE
The Oaks at Plum Creek is my absolute favorite wedding venue to work with. Their communication is fast, reliable, and highly detailed, making the planning process seamless. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an easy flow for guests and amazing natural lighting that creates stunning photos. They truly go above and beyond to make every couple feel special and cater to everyone's individual needs and preferences. As a photographer, I always look forward to capturing weddings at this venue - the combination of the gorgeous space and the incredible staff makes it my top choice.
The Best Staff and Experience
Being a vendor and photographer at The Oaks has truly been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I have been incredibly lucky to work there from the very beginning, and it has been amazing to watch this venue grow into what it is today. The Oaks is special not just because of the space itself, but because of the people behind it. The planning team and entire staff are exceptional. Every wedding day runs smoothly, thoughtfully, and with so much care for both the couples and the vendors working alongside them. There is a level of respect, communication, and teamwork at The Oaks that is rare, and it makes such a difference on wedding days. Anna, Justin, Alex and also Janae are truly incredible planners. They are organized, calm under pressure, and deeply invested in creating a seamless experience for their couples. As a photographer, working with planners who are proactive, collaborative, and kind makes all the difference, and they consistently go above and beyond. You can feel how much they care in every detail. Xander and the rest of the staff are absolute standouts as well. They bring such a steady, supportive presence to every event and are always willing to help, anticipate needs, and make sure everyone feels taken care of. Their professionalism and positive energy elevate every wedding day. Rhett, Matt and the chefs and culinary team deserve so much recognition. The food is consistently outstanding, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Couples and guests rave about it every single time, and it adds such a strong finishing touch to the entire experience. And none of this would be possible without the Brintons/Shinns, who own The Oaks. Their vision, leadership, and heart are felt in every part of the venue. They have created a space that values people, relationships, and excellence, and it shows in the way the entire team operates. The Oaks is a dream venue for couples and a true joy for vendors to work at. I feel so grateful to be part of their story and get to work at this venue and to continue creating beautiful wedding days alongside such an incredible team.
Amazing Venue!
Working at the Oaks is a dream! They are incredibly organized and efficient. They are very clear in communication leading up to the event. Day of execution is wonderful, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to vendors. Alex, Anna, and Justin go above and beyond for their couples, making the day a smooth and stress free event. The venue space is wonderful, always clean and well maintained. Between the immaculate bridal suite, inviting foyer, golf simulator room, speak easy, ballroom and fabulous bar, couples are bound to find a space that speaks to them and contributes to making their day truly special and one of a kind. I can't say enough positive things about the Oaks, it's my favorite venue to work at.
