She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. A Bupp Event was built after a huge move to the south and a new baby in tow. After 7 months of an extended maternity leave from events and the DC market I found I really missed events! The creative designs, the logistical details, the 'friendor' relationships. I missed it all. I decided to dive back into events, most specifically weddings, giving me the opportunity to connect with all these beautiful couples and a whole new set of vendors.

“If you are questioning if you need a day of coordinator…the answer is yes, yes, you do. I had a micro wedding in December of 2023. I wanted to have a stress free wedding day…or as stress free as possible. My fiancé and I interviewed a few coordinators early in 2023. We really liked Ashley’s demeanor and vibe on the phone. She asked thoughtful questions, listened to our answers, and asked good follow ups. Through out the process of creating the timeline for the wedding day, she asked questions to figure out logistics that I didn’t even think about. My fiancé and I were using the same car to get to our venue and she helped us map out that timeline. I am so glad she did because we needed to do some slight adjustments to the rental timeframe. That’s just one example of the attention to detail that she has, which made our day go great! She was involved in every aspect from the transportation company, photographer, venues, etc. She asked questions to understand guest dynamics and if there was anything she needed to be aware of in that regard. I didn’t even think about that until she posed the question! There was a very minor snafu the day of due to the bridesmaids making an unplanned detour from the ceremony to the reception. Ashley listened to me vent, had 2 different solutions thought though, helped me change into my tennis shoes from heels, and above all…kept me calm! Though we only booked her for the day, she sent follow up messages, a holiday card and is helping us nudge along one of our vendors for their deliverables, post wedding. Do not underestimate the value of a day of coordinator! I am SO extremely happy that we booked Ashley. She feels like a friend at this point!”

One of the things that I loved right away about Brandon when I first spoke with him was his authenticity, friendliness and sense of humor. I knew immediately that he was a genuine person who really cared about getting to know me and my fiancé. As a result, we became friends pretty quickly and got to know a lot about each other beyond wedding planning-related tasks. I so appreciated this because it meant that I felt like I had an ally to help me navigate the wedding planning process. Brandon will truly support you and go to bat for you if there is a communication issue or conflict of interest with another vendor or venue. I learned as a bride that it is really important to have someone like Brandon who is there 100% looking out for your best interests. I also appreciated that while I hired Brandon as my Day-of-Coordinator, he did way more than just day-of coordinating duties, including attending meetings with my venue several months in advance. He also always answered my texts and emails quickly and communicated with me frequently. This made me feel secure knowing that Brandon really cared about me! On the day of the event, we had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, and Brandon and Adam worked hard to still ensure that the décor and other elements for the ceremony were still set up to look beautiful inside. They also worked with the venue to make some changes to the furniture layout in order to still ensure that the space was set up to make us and our guests have the best experience possible. They also did an outstanding job taking down the décor and cleaning up so that my new husband and I could enjoy our second line and afterparty without having to worry about going back to the venue to clean up. When we returned to our hotel room much later that night, all of our items, including personal items that we had left in the venue space, were all returned to us and neatly stored in our room. We really felt taken care of the entire time. On top of all of this, I really felt like the fee we paid Brandon was an excellent value for the service that we received. I compared Brandon's pricing to other Day-of Coordinators in the New Orleans area, and I can say with certainty that his prices are better that most of the competition, especially for the level of service that you will receive! I would 100% recommend Crimson Quarter Weddings to any bride, groom or individual wishing to host a party/event in the New Orleans or broader Louisiana and Mississippi area!”

“Leshelle was incredible and truly made the wedding of our dreams come to life! We had a relatively short timeline from when we reached out until the big day AND we live outside of NYC now so were planning remotely, but Leshelle helped keep us on track and manage deadlines. She provided several strong recommendations for vendors and helped us vet the ones we found ourselves. As we got closer to the day, she took over full management of vendor communications and helped troubleshoot and provide options for a problematic vendor last minute a week before the wedding. The day of the wedding Leshelle, was right in the actions ensuring all the vendors strictly adhered to our time schedule. Our wedding day couldn’t have gone smoother and that is a direct reflection of Leshelle’s actions. Even more than that we felt like we had a true friend and ally during the whole process as time and time again, Leshelle acted as both a sounding board and steady hand that provided reassurance during the most stressful times of planning. “We hired Leigh & Co for day-of coordination and were paired with Heather as our main coordinator and Rachel as our assistant coordinator on the day -- both were fantastic and a joy to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.”
