    11/10! Absolutely use Non-Traditional Wedding DJs! We had the absolute best experience working with DJ Nico Rojo and owner Ben Boylan at Non-Traditional Wedding DJs. My wife and I got married in October 2025 at Farm to People in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Music is very important to me and I cared a lot about our choice of DJ, and consequently met with a lot of different DJ services. It was immediately clear that NT DJs would be our choice once I met with them. Nico and Ben both convey high levels of competence and professionalism while retaining the feeling of a business owned and operated by real people, and importantly real people who genuinely care about your wedding and experience. When I think wedding DJ, my mind, and I think many people's, first goes to "what music is being played during the reception when everyone is on the dance floor?" You'll actually work with your DJ for way more than that - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and maybe more depending on your special day. Nico was not only great at that first, narrow idea of a DJ, but he was consistently awesome for every part of our wedding day. Whether he was determining what part of the evening music should be played, mixing and sequencing, or picking music that 'rhymed' with the rest of our selections, I felt very comfortable and at ease knowing he would crush it (and he did). Importantly, we are low-key and understated people and wanted our DJ to reflect that - we wanted to skip the common DJ-as-Hypeman setup that usually includes yelling into the microphone for folks to "get out on the dancefloor." Nico worked with us to understand how we wanted announcements and intro's to go and was happy to customize to our preferences. Everything was so smooth. We were able to think about all the other facets of planning a wedding while working with Nico & Ben!

    Thank you SO much to NTWDJs, especially DJ Jonathan, for his support on our big day! Our guests have nonstop complimented Jonathan’s fantastic work on our wedding, and we have received multiple compliments saying that Johnathan was the one of the best DJs they’ve seen/heard at a wedding!! It was a tricky mix with our vastly different cultures/music, but his transitions were so effortlessly smooth and everyone was on the dance floor nonstop! Similarly, the photo booth was also set up in no time and in the most perfect location for our venue/guests. I also really appreciated that the team made sure my husband and I got our own pictures, since we were so busy dancing that we almost forgot to take our own! We even ended up having a larger-than-expected turnout at our after-party, since our guests were so sad that the party was ending at midnight and wanted to keep the fun going. Truly thank you so, so much to the team, this far exceeded our expectations and made our night such a memorable experience. We had a wonderful time and are so happy we went with this team for our DJ & photo booth!

    From our first call with Ben, we knew we would be in good hands for our September 2025 wedding. After briefly discussing the type of music we love, Ben immediately understood our vibe and listed off several other artists he correctly assumed we were fans of. Leading up to the wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, taking time to understand what we were looking for and the different vibes we were hoping to create. We were impressed with just how well-versed he is in different genres of music. On the wedding day, Ben brought that same positive and energetic energy, which made our wedding so special. We trusted him 100% with the party he was creating, and he did not disappoint! We also rented a photo booth from NT Weddings which was, of course, a total hit. (photos attached). We feel so lucky and appreciative to have found Non-Traditional DJs!
