I cannot recommend Four Winds Farm enough. Not only was our wedding perfect and unforgettable, but the whole weekend was so truly special. Ian and Bri went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true with such care and ease. Every single inch of Four Winds is gorgeous, you’ll have a hard time choosing where you want it all to happen! We also really appreciated the history and character of the barn, we barely had to decorate as the space was filled with memorabilia and fun details. It’s really the coolest spot. As we come up on our first anniversary, we’re wishing we could go back and relive it all!

My husband and I just had many of our wedding events at the Blue Bear Inn including our Welcome Party, After Party, and post-wedding Brunch and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. The Blue Bear Inn is an unbelievably beautiful venue with its views down into the valley while set on a quiet, peaceful road. It is gorgeous and feels like home, somehow perfectly balancing feeling grand and intimate at the same time. The team at Blue Bear is also unmatched. They are the kindest people, who were truly invested in every step of the process with us. We had so many last minute changes and we could not have figured it all out with Carrie, who was so organized and patient both with us and all of our guests. At the Blue Bear, we got to know all of the staff and they were always making sure that we were happy and had everything that we needed and requested, whether it was Bob going around the entire property all day making sure all guests had what they needed or Bryan making sure I had enough light to walk through the yard after dark in my wedding heels or the staff dancing with us at night. The food they provided for the events was actually unbelievably, both in presentation and in taste. I was stunned by every course that kept coming out. The Blue Bear is a perfect venue for any and all wedding events and we couldn't recommend it more!!

Working with Kristen was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we reached out, it was clear she was excited to work with us. Kristen kept us in the loop and as involved as we wanted to be in the planning process. Kristen is an excellent planner and was always flexible and creative when it came to any hiccups in the road. Kristen truly went above and beyond, helping us bring our vision to life from start to finish. No detail was missed, and the end result was a the complete package that exceeded our expectations. Kristen's upbeat personality made the entire process easy and enjoyable, and although we didn't end up having our wedding at Milliken Manor, she turned our greenhouse wedding dreams into a stunning reality. When the rain started the moment I got to the altar, Lauryn didn’t hesitate—she ran to get umbrellas for us and our parents, ensuring we stayed dry during such an important moment. Her quick thinking and preparedness in that unexpected situation really highlighted her dedication and care. Throughout the entire process, Lauryn’s communication and attention to detail were remarkable. I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!

From the moment we first inquired about hosting our wedding at Harding Allen Estate, the team was incredibly timely, friendly, understanding, encouraging and welcoming. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day special was unparalleled. The venue itself is simply gorgeous, with a fun and whimsical, almost fairy tale-like atmosphere. We were given the freedom to be silly, unique and move about the property as if we were all old friends, finding nooks and crannies to sit and talk for hours. One of our favorite memories was when I wanted a silly picture in the library, and the staff made sure the gentleman there stayed hidden, allowing us to play and giggle like kids in the dorms. The bridal suite was also set up waiting for us with lights and mimosas, so I could just relax and breathe, knowing everything was being handled with our best interests in mind. Harding Allen Estate truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect.

Getting married at the Stevens Estate was the best decision we made! The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the best part of the entire experience was working with Helen! Helen made the planning process so easy for us. She is so great to work with and so detail orientated. She brought all of our visions to life and made sure everything went according to plan. She created back up plans in case of unexpected events such as rain and really thought through everything. On the day of, we really had no stress because of the work Helen and her team put in. We had a unique wedding ceremony where we had a traditional ceremony followed immediately by a Persian ceremony, and Helen made sure everything followed our customized timeline. She even personally oversaw all of the Persian Ceremony decorations/set up to ensure our valuable items were set up perfectly and packed up safely. In addition to Helen, we also had a lot of other people with Stevens Estate who made sure our day was perfect. One was our day-of wedding attendant who was so attentive! She went out of her way to make sure my husband and I were getting everything we needed on the day of. If you want a beautiful wedding venue with an incredible team and amazing food we can’t recommend Stevens Estate enough. I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. Gina and the team at Connemara House Farm were a pleasure to work with throughout our wedding planning process. Their communication was always organized, timely, and responsive, putting us at ease every step of the way. They helped us in so many ways, one of them being suggestions on different things to add to make the day even more special, and they did! The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous, with beautifully maintained grounds and a classy, elegant feel perfect for our fall wedding. The dressing rooms provided were stunning, and our day-of coordinator, Lauren, was amazing - she made sure everything ran smoothly and checked in on us to ensure we were stress-free and enjoying our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to bring our vision to life. We highly recommend Connemara House Farm to any couples looking for a perfect New England wedding experience!

We couldn't have imagined how special our wedding day would be hosted at Willowdale! The venue provided use with outstanding vendor recommendations & planning details throughout the year leading up to our wedding and then our wedding coordinator, Alli, brought the whole thing home into a tightly coordinated day that was smooth & spectacular. Our guests raved about the food. The Filet Mignon is worth it & guests were stealing cookies to take home by the end of the night. Ultimately, it is hard to beat how beautiful the property is. Our first meeting was really easy with a quick hour introduction to the property. If you are on the fence, do visit!

Saltonstall Farm

Stratham, NH
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $9,000

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Unique barn setting
  • Wheelchair accessible

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No all-inclusive dining options
We absolutely LOVE Saltonstall. We worked at the barn before the renovation, and after. Sophie & Kyle did an incredible job with the updates and renovations. It truly is a special place. There's nowhere else quite like it!

Glen Magna was truly absolute perfection. We had our wedding in early August, and the flowers were magnificent! The grounds, the house, the tent, it was all just incredibly beautiful. The staff at Glen Magna were also incredible from everything leading up to the wedding to the wedding day. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything in my vision come true. The catering was also exceptional. People are still bringing up the food at our wedding. And, working with the caterers was an exceptional experience, too. The variety of options was amazing, and the food was actually delicious. Everyone thought so! If I could change anything about Glen Magna, it would be to do it all over again! I cannot say enough about the staff, the building, the grounds, the ambiance, the food, etc., etc., etc. Thank you, Glen Magna, for allowing me to have a wedding that exceeded my dreams!

Cambridge Boat Club

5.0

CAMBRIDGE, MA
  • Up to 120 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,000

Cambridge Boat Club is a social and rowing club, located on the banks of the Charles River overlooking Eliot Bridge. Originally built in 1909, CBC was picked up in its entirety and rolled upstream to its current location in 1947, to make room for the building of Memorial Drive. Featuring vaulted ceilings and dark exposed beams akin to a ski chalet, and double french doors opening to a full length veranda, CBC offers a unique, rustic setting for any event.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!

We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

The Multicultural Arts Center

5.0

Cambridge, MA
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,600

This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Bridal suite on site
  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No all-inclusive dining options

We held our wedding reception at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, and it was a beautiful venue to host our event. The space was a perfect size for our event with 125 guests, and the ceiling is a showstopper. The building is right on the small city park, Centanni Park, which is such a nice little green space in East Cambridge. The staff was friendly and easy to work with and helped us to create our dream reception. One thing to keep in mind when picking this venue is that you have to select from a list of preferred vendors for catering, and they will need to rent all of the plates, cutlery, glassware, catering supplies etc since the venue does not provide these items. Their list of caterers to choose from is a great list, but the extra cost of these rentals should be remembered when budgeting your event.

Looking for a more “blank slate” industrial-style venue, we found Olio, and we could not be happier with our decision! Sarah was an absolute gem to work with. From the moment we saw the incredibly detailed website, it was the clear choice! Sarah was extremely communicative and helped us with every question and concern we had quickly. My now wife and I were searching high and low for a wedding venue that would be something different than the typical wedding cookie cutter experience. We wanted a venue that was like no other and that our family and friends fell in love with. We came across The Bell Inn and it was truly the greatest find. The beautifully restored historical property locally located in a beautiful north shore city was truly a gem to find. The inn is so picturesque and also located steps away from downtown Peabody which provided even more beautiful backgrounds for photographs. As if the gorgeous property that photographs beautifully wasn’t enough, the food is superb, and the staff is incredibly accommodating, kind and go above and beyond. Every request and inquiry we made was met with a smile that exceeded my wife and I’s expectations. The moment we walked through the door we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married at. It is truly the perfect venue because it is one stop shop. My wife and I checked in on Friday afternoon to one of the ten picturesque suites. Each suite was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated which paid homage to the history of the building. We had our delicious rehearsal dinner which all of the guests raved about. We then enjoyed our dream wedding in the outdoor courtyard, with a menu my wife and I hand picked with the Inn manager’s help. Shout out to Heather who is simply the best! To finish the evening we were able to host our after party in the speakeasy. The next morning we had a delicious brunch to end the dream weekend. Everyone has not stoped talking about our wedding, including us. The rooms, the tavern, the courtyard, the speakeasy, are all the space you need! We love the Bell Inn and can’t wait to return for date nights, anniversaries, and to one day bring our children. The Bell Inn isn’t a place to us they became a family.

We feel beyond lucky to have chosen Hampshire House to celebrate the most important day of our lives. From the very first photo I saw of the venue, I instantly fell in love.I could immediately envision everyone we love gathered in that warm, elegant space, celebrating together in a way that felt both intimate and timeless. It perfectly captured the spirit of what we dreamed for our wedding: a meaningful gathering with family, friends, and mentors. From the beginning of our planning journey, Victoria was truly exceptional. Her responsiveness was lightning-fast (even when I packed a dozen questions into a single email!), and she was consistently calm, cheerful, and organized through the often chaotic planning process. I’ll never forget how welcomed we felt when we met her in person for the first time at our tasting. Her kindness, professionalism, and flexibility gave me instant peace of mind that everything on the big day would be taken care of—and it was, and more. Victoria went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our needs, no matter how small, and her quiet support meant everything when other parts of the planning felt unpredictable. She took detailed notes, followed through on every ask, and always made me feel like our wedding truly mattered to her. On the wedding day itself, Victoria, Lindsay, and Elissa (apologies if I spelled any names wrong!) were absolute stars. These three incredible women were everywhere—effortlessly managing logistics, adjusting details on the fly, and doing it all with radiant smiles. They handled so many things I could see—setting up our escort card table to look pristine, subtly hiding visual clutter to keep the space beautiful, helping adjust the tone of the pianist’s music to match the mood, even helping us with tech like setting up my phone for the playlist—and I’m sure there were dozens more things they did that we didn’t even notice. That’s the thing about the team at Hampshire House: they care as deeply and attentively as we did. They treated our wedding as something truly meaningful, not just another event on the calendar. Every detail was cared for, not just the obvious ones, but even the ones we didn’t know to think about. Hampshire House made us feel so seen, so supported, and so celebrated. We will remember their kindness, effort, and magic forever:)
