About this venue
This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. If you can dream it, it can be done at Olio. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. Huge thank you to Olio!
We had the absolute best experience at Olio for our wedding! From our very first tour, we were blown away by the space. Olio is modern, flexible, and full of character, but what really made everything exceptional was working with Sarah, the venue manager. She is organized, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. It’s clear she truly cares about each couple’s experience, and she helped us feel confident and excited every step of the way. She also fully embraced our disco garden wedding dreams! We also worked with Sarah’s other company, Without A Hitch, for our day-of coordination and were lucky enough to be paired with Ashley — she was amazing! Ashley was calm, professional, and on top of every detail. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could be fully present and just enjoy the day. We didn't worry about a thing. The team at Olio and Without A Hitch made our wedding feel so seamless. We are so grateful to have had such caring, experienced pros in our corner. Highly recommend this venue and these incredible people!

We eloped at this incredible venue, and we can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. As a queer couple, it's been a little uncertain with the changing climate around queer rights, I found out through Zola that Olio was doing free services for queer couples. This venue went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect. They were not only accommodating but genuinely supportive and flexible with every request we had. From helping us with the lighting and guiding us on where to get the chairs, to allowing us to take photos inside before the ceremony because of the freezing weather, their kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly special. They even took behind-the-scenes photos and shared them with us, capturing moments we’ll treasure forever. A special shoutout to Sarah, who was always amazing with communication. She answered all our questions so quickly and with such warmth, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. The team made our elopement feel like an intimate celebration, and we couldn't be more grateful for their help in making our day so beautiful. If you're looking for a venue that supports queer couples and provides top-notch service, this is absolutely the place!

Olio is a beautiful venue. We were drawn to the hardwood floors, large ceilings and beautiful tall windows, and everything came together wonderfully for our special day! The Olio team and owner Sarah went above an beyond to make the planning process and our wedding day smooth and worry free.

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Olio in Peabody! Sarah, the venue owner and owner of Without a Hitch, was great — responsive, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail of our day was perfect. The venue itself was beautiful and modern, featuring historic hardwood floors and tall windows that added character and warmth to the space. The high ceilings and acoustics made our band sound SO good - everyone was dancing all night! The string lighting and complimentary up-lighting created a festive holiday vibe that our guests loved. A La Carte Catering and Premier Bar Service did an amazing job, providing signature drinks, tasty passed appetizers, and food stations in a way that encouraged mingling. It was truly the perfect day in every way!
