I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. “Stop looking...THIS is where you should have your wedding! We weren’t sure what vibe we wanted for our wedding at first, but the moment we walked into Union Mills, we knew it was the right choice. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out—the pictures truly speak for themselves—and it’s perfectly located: walking distance to everything Frederick has to offer, yet super convenient for guests driving in. The part that truly sold us: the food. Niko will literally make anything you want. We chose a fairly traditional dinner, but he added incredible twists that made it unforgettable, like lavender honey butter with our bread assortment, pepitas and pickled onions in our watermelon salad, and the most delicious herb-crusted potatoes (people are still raving about them) alongside our chimichurri steak. Both Mary and Niko go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. Just a few examples: they let me store my dress in the bridal suite 48 hours before the wedding, added a non-alcoholic prosecco to our getting-ready spread when they heard two of my bridesmaids were pregnant, tracked down porters for my mother-in-law (her favorite), got my husband a special bottle of whiskey for the evening, and even fine-tuned my signature cocktail (a watermelon margarita) the very morning of the wedding to make sure it was perfect. On top of that, their staff was constantly checking on us throughout the entire night to make sure we were having the best time...and we absolutely were. We truly couldn’t recommend a better venue. Location, ambiance, food, service...Union Mills has it all. We only wish we could get married here every weekend!”

Caboose Farm is a beautiful, rustic wedding venue located in Sabillasville, Maryland (just north of Frederick, MD) that blends beautiful scenery with convenient accommodations. Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. The grounds are stunning, with various places around the site for ceremonies, photo ops, celebrations, preparation, and beyond. The staff was fantastic to work with. Donna was so kind and flexible, and Terry, our coordinator, was on top of every detail. She helped us make the day exactly what we wanted, and was accommodating to any request to help us customize our multi-cultural wedding day. We chose to have our dinner/reception in the stable, which created the exact cozy and intimate vibe we were going for. Communication was efficient and thorough. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the house is beautiful, and Debbie is amazing. She answered all of my questions and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does.
