“I used Amie for makeup and Kelley for hair and could not have been more pleased! I had a large bridal party so they brought two assistants each for the day of the wedding and all 6 of them were wonderful. I am very picky about makeup (I had never had it done professionally where I had actually liked it prior to my wedding trial) and Amie knew exactly what to do with very limited direction from me. For my hair, I asked for a pretty big change the day of (compared with what was done at my trial) and it was better than I could have expected. Finally, two of my bridesmaids are big into makeup and sat with one of the Amie's assistants for hours during the day asking about products and they have been using some she recommended since! For a vendor that I spent a ton of time researching prior to selecting one, Amie, Kelley, and their team were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone, no matter your style or tastes. They may have been slightly higher priced than some of the others I looked at but they were more than worth it - hair and makeup is not something you don't want to be happy with on your wedding day! So many guests told us the music felt just like “us” and commented on what a great DJ Michael was. As the bride, I even postponed changing into my “late night” dress because I wanted to spend more time on the dance floor! I absolutely recommend hiring District Remix and Michael in particular - you won’t regret it!”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“After meeting dozens of photographers, scrolling hundreds of portfolios, and feeling like all wedding photographers were the same, I saw Margarita at a wedding expo booth. Her display photos were nothing I had ever seen from a wedding photographer before...an artistic voice. Scroll her work and you'll be relieved to find someone who captures raw, real emotion and doesn't rely on 50 filters and over saturation in her work. Her prices were incredibly reasonable so we booked her immediately. After talking with us, she suggested we do our engagement shoot at a brewery/arcade which we had never been to and now we go every week! Props to her Baltimore city knowledge and ability to read us to find one of our favorite places that has significant meaning More importantly, when we got our photos back, we were floored. Neither my partner nor I really like our photos taken but we loved the photos and how we looked. She brought out the models in us with such ease because the whole time you work with her it feels like your with a friend who just happens to have a camera. It all felt natural and genuine and you can see it in the photos. The wedding was the same thing - just a laidback feeling between my spouse, Margarita, and me just hanging out. Yes, she can shoot a camera. Yes, she can edit photos. Yes, she can properly read light and stage photos. All necessary skills of a photographer but her real skill is making connections with her clients and capturing genuine emotions and moments. She met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, and always came prepared with outlines, itineraries, and details that we would have never thought of!
