I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Leah enough! From start to finish, she captured every moment of our perfect wedding day and even the day after exploring in the breathtaking Yellowstone national park. As a couple who had never had professional photos taken, we were nervous at first, but Leah immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. Her talent, professionalism, and genuine warmth shone through in every shot. The photos perfectly reflect the joy, love, and magic of our wedding, and we will treasure them forever. Leah truly went above and beyond, and working with her was an absolute dream!

Venture Ever After

4.9

Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kyle Carnes Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, Kyle was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, making the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. The quality of his work was truly exceptional - he was super professional, kind, and fun to work with, and even included complementary engagement photos as part of our wedding package, which turned out beautifully. Kyle was also incredibly chill yet engaging, and managed to be everywhere at once to capture all the perfect moments throughout our special day. We couldn't be happier with the incredible photos we have to remember our wedding by, thanks to Kyle Carnes Photography.

Hello! I'm Robert. This is me. Let me tell you a bit about who I am and what I do. Love for photography, I am very passionate about working with my camera. If I am creating a little photo for myself that is never seen publicly or a project for a client, I put everything I have into making the photography I create as best I possibly can. Every click of the shudder is an opportunity for creating amazing photography. Every photo-shoot has options for photographs waiting to be found. Solving these puzzles with my camera and lighting is a lot of fun for me. I believe you can see that also. That's why you are here looking at my work now.

Robert is fabulous to work with, our photos are wonderful and we could not be happier.

Wedding photography that's all about you. alyson levy PHOTOGRAPHY specializes in creating gorgeous images that tell your unique love story. I rely on years of experience and an artist's eye to capture crucial moments without drawing focus, creating heirloom quality photographs that sparkle with humor and emotion.

Alyson Levy Photography helped me make my wedding an utterly perfect success in every way. Not only were my images amazing, I felt completely taken care of, comfortable, and at ease with A.L. Photography as my guide. From the rehearsal to the last dancer standing, Alyson was right there for every moment, capturing the true feel of the event, even the love in the air! I found her rates extremely reasonable for the thoroughness of her services, the attention to detail, and the quality of the photography. Alyson worked with me from beginning to end to make sure I got all of the special shots that the "moms" wanted including candids of moments I missed that night from being so busy "being bride". It was a true joy to go through my photos and relive that weekend. I would encourage you to consider Alyson Levy Photography as your wedding photographer. I am available for questions or feedback.

Color. Laughter. Personality. Three words that I think best sum up my images. I've been shooting weddings for over 15 years and loving every minute of it! Big or small, the photos from your wedding day will travel with you throughout your lifetime.

Katelyn Servedio Photography

Portland, OR

My name is Katelyn, I’m 26, and I’m based out of the Portland, Oregon area! I am beautifully, unapologetically, and loudly queer, and my pronouns are she/her. On any given day, you can find me meditating and reading by the water somewhere. I’m deeply into all things spiritual—moon phases, energy work, astrology, you name it—and I try to bring that sense of intention and magic into everything I do. Photography has been my outlet, my healing space and my rebellion for as long as i can remember. But I am inspired by all forms of art. I write poetry, I paint, I make pottery. I love making playlists.

Katelyn is amazing! She was early for our shoot, and very efficient without feeling rushed. She was excited and enthusiastic about each new shot which made the experience feel very comfortable and relaxed. The photos blew us away - they looked like they were right out of a fairytale. This was our third professional photo shoot and I can confidently say our favorite photos we’ve ever gotten. We can’t wait for her to photograph our wedding! Katelyn is a joy to be around and is clearly an expert in her craft.

I’m Jaime, a Portland wedding and elopement photographer specializing in intimate, joyful and intentional ceremonies in nature. My work blends honest moments with a refined, artistic eye for images that feel both effortless and thoughtfully composed. I'm also an ultra marathoner, mountain lover, and dog wrangler, who needs regular access to tall peaks old growth forests, rocky coastlines, and everybody-knows-your-name wine bars.

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! Jamie was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everything I could of asked for and more. Myself and my (now) Husband decided to elope from Birmingham AL to Oregon. We had never been to the state before so planning was a little nerve racking. After meeting with Jamie for a Zoom call, I immediately had stress taken off me. She was perfect at capturing exactly what I was looking for and finding the most beautiful spot to have our ceremony. I received my sneak peaks back while still being on my honeymoon and got to fall in love with her work! I highly recommend and I can not say enough to express how grateful I am that she was apart of our day.

Sightglass Photography

5.0

Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,400

We are Eric and Amber, a husband and wife wedding photography team with a different story than most. Both of us actually had our own established wedding photography businesses, with years of experience behind us, before we ever met. We found each other at a wedding professionals networking meeting, fell in love, on Valentines Day, no less, and got married 2 years later. Along the way, we merged our 2 businesses into Sightglass Photography.

Awarded Best of Zola
We could not have asked for a better photography team than Amber and Eric! We met them at a friend's wedding, and so loved their vibes and the pictures they captured from our friend's special day. So, when we decided to have our own re-do wedding, we reached out to them immediately. They have been so easy to work with, so much fun, and so professional. They also really took our wishes into consideration, which I really appreciated. For example, we were clear from the outset that we cared the most about getting a million pictures from the dancing at our wedding, and we didn't much care about getting ready pictures. They delivered so hard, and were in the middle of the action all night long, and my husband and I going to treasure these pictures until we die. We also got our photos less than 6 weeks later, which was wonderful. Having now seen their photos from two separate and very different weddings, I am pretty positive that Amber and Eric can do anything, and will do a fantastic job of capturing what makes a particular wedding special. We would hire them again in a heartbeat if we ever decide to do yet another re-do wedding.

There are many reasons couples choose not to have a “traditional” wedding, and the beauty is that you can make it anything you want it to be – and that’s also why I care so deeply about making sure every couple I work with knows that their day is important, beautiful, and deserves to be captured so you can look back on every detail. Hi! My name is Anna– I am an elopement and wedding photographer helping adventurous couples say “I do” on their own terms from coast to coast.

Anna is so sweet, caring, and a great communicator. As a wedding planner, it was great to work with her and she captured the beauty of the venue so well. The portraits and couple photos are stunning. Would definitely recommend her!

Professional photographer, lover of natural light, traveler, adventurer, happy wife and a dreamer! I fell in love with photography when my dad gave me his old film camera from a dusty box he had uncovered in our garage one spring cleaning day, and I have enjoyed taking photos ever since. I have travelled the world with my backpack, camera and trusty Apple laptop from Europe to India and South East Asia learning and being enriched by all the wonderful different cultures.

My husband and I found Kate at a wedding show! She had great energy and the portfolios were gorgeous. I saw everything I had been looking for in a wedding photographer and knew I had to reach out. We got to have a meeting with Dom to go over our options and decided to book Gabby for our wedding day. Kate and Dom were both incredible with communication and organization. They made it so Gabby knew exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Gabby! She is kind, funny, never makes you feel awkward in front of the camera, and knows how to keep people laughing and smiling. Gabby did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Everyone has told me what an incredible job she did and I completely agree! Kate has built something amazing and is truly so kind. I cannot recommend Kate Holt Photography enough!

I’m a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I’ve documented hundreds of couples’ love stories over the past 13+ years, traveling all over the United States and beyond, and it has been one of the biggest honors of my life. I received my degree in photojournalism in 2010 and chose to pursue documenting love instead of local and world news events, but my background in photojournalism greatly guides how I approach my duty as a wedding photographer. I always strive to capture the day how it happened: the love, the laughter and the tears. I want you to look back at your wedding images for decades to come with joy and pride.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Maria enough! From the beginning with our engagement photos to the end with our wedding, Maria was nothing but fantastic. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is incredibly passionate about her craft and truly cares about the people she photographs. She was so patient with us during our engagement shoot, and made such an effort to know all the tiny details of our wedding. An entire paragraph could be written on how talented she is, but her gorgeous images speak for themselves! She makes magic happen at weddings, catching all the details and in-between moments, and delivers such beautifully authentic photographs. It was a lovely experience working with her, and so reassuring to know that, through an already stressful time, we were in good hands. Thank you, Maria, for capturing all the love at our wedding! We will cherish these photographs for a lifetime.

We're both a little goofy, love to dance, adore all fur babies, and will love you forever if you buy us tacos. We are best friends who get to work together which is really great. We started photographing weddings 11 years ago and are truly grateful that our work has filled our lives with so many incredible people. If you were to ask us what we love most about being wedding photographers we would tell you, it's the people, hands down! Experiencing and documenting the love and joy between couples and their families and friends is the best job ever.

We are SO happy with our decision to have Briana shoot our wedding! We booked them back in 2018 and they did our engagement shoot in 2019. Bria was great about communicating and getting to know us prior to our shoot date! It truly felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. Fast forward to 2020 when we learned our wedding would have to be cancelled due to COVID. Again, Bria was wonderful in her communication and we were able to shift gears and turn our would be wedding into an elopement shoot. Bria and Andrew are going to continue with us in our journey as we throw our big bash in 2022! Our photographs are absolutely STUNNING. Her style is very candid -- doesn't feel too pose-y. We got so many great shots at both of our events. She also works with GREAT local businesses for prints. We are absolutely in love with our gallery wall and our albums. Such high quality. I live in Portland with my little family and I am thankful every day that I get to do something I love as a full time career. I got my BFA in photography from California College of the Arts in 2009, and started shooting weddings shorty after that. I believe there is so much magic in a photograph. It allows something to keep on existing, even after it’s gone. I strive to capture moments authentically but cleverly, using light, color and composition to make things compelling and beautiful. I try to be as candid as possible and use very minimal posing; taking a photojournalistic approach whenever I can.

I value experience and relationships over material things, and work mostly with couples who are planning smaller weddings or elopements. Timeless over trendy has always been my mantra with wedding photography. I’m Natalie, a Portland, Oregon wedding photographer. I've been photographing weddings and families for over ten years, and my focus is on human connection. The simplest moments, the ones that aren't orchestrated or directed, are the ones you'll want to remember forever.

I am so grateful to have had the pleasure to work with Natalie twice! The first time I met her she photographed my friend's wedding in Hood River and when I saw the wedding photos it truly felt like the representation of that day. filled with joy and love. After searching endlessly for a photographer i was recommended to Natalie twice and when we got to speak she asked such intentional questions about our love story, what photography means to us, and photos that mean so much to us. the conversation moved me and i knew i wanted a photographer that could capture the emotion and joy of that day.. and she was sure she did. She understood we didn't really want overly styled/editorial photos and wanted more time to spend with our loved ones. Our French-Mexican wedding was beautiful and I'm so grateful that Natalie captured such beautiful moments. She was a joy to work with and I hope we get to work with each other for other life events in the future.

Lauren Miles Photo was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. Lauren's communication style was on point - she was very responsive, attentive to our needs and vision, and made herself readily available for any questions we had. More importantly, Lauren is simply a kind, thoughtful person who brought great energy and professionalism to our big day. She took incredible detail shots and was eager to get creative with unique photo ideas, which we loved. The final product was beautiful, high-quality wedding photos that perfectly captured the joy and love of our special day. We'd enthusiastically recommend Lauren Miles Photo to any engaged couple looking for a friendly, talented wedding photographer who can balance being detail-oriented while making the process fun.

I’m a formally trained and creative photographer, originally from a little beach town on the south shore of Boston and love brought me to Oregon. I’m an easy going, small-town girl exploring this big, beautiful world, and sharing love stories along the way. I’ve always found happiness in the little things, but what I love the most are the people in my life. Whether they’re family, friends, clients or new faces, it’s all about connecting. So, being a photographer, I honestly feel blessed and honored to have a career that revolves around love, new beginnings, and happy memories.

Victoria is on our venue's list of preferred vendors. She is a talented, creative professional who is a pleasure to work with. We cannot recommend her more highly!
