I'm a film + digital wedding photographer based in Portland, OR. I have a documentary approach, rooted in emotion and real moments, with an editorial touch. I've developed a photography style that is honest, relaxed, and all about fleeting emotions captured in an uninterrupted way. I'm here to help you document the wedding celebration that's meaningful to you, and to make sure you and your partner have the space to live out the magic of your day authentically. Your images will encapsulate how the day felt and not just how it looked. I'm here for all couples, people, and kinds of love.

Your wedding photos should be a product of the experience you have on your wedding day. No performance, nothing fake. Your wedding day is not a photoshoot, a series of stiff poses, or an unreal version of yourself. What you feel is what I want to document, for you to keep and pass down as your visual legacy. The way your experience feels matters. Documenting it honestly and preserving every drop of emotion the way you felt it, that's where I come in.

    Elissa is an absolute dream to work with. From the moment we started the shoot, she created such a positive, comfortable, and collaborative space that truly brought my vision to life. The photos came out more beautiful than I could have imagined—dreamy, expressive, and full of emotion! Elissa has an incredible talent not only for capturing stunning images but also for understanding exactly what her clients are looking for. My husband in particular is extremely shy and stiff in front of cameras and she captured beautifully candid photos of us over a 6 hour long shoot from the beginning. She was thoughtful, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. She organized and coordinated everything in advance and found multiple areas that fit my vision exactly, fully eliminated all the stress I originally had trying to do it myself. I've already recommended her to everyone I know, and l'll continue to do so.

    Elle is truly a dream - both to work with and to trust with capturing the most magical moments throughout a very important and/or special event. Elle was referred to me by a close friend. My husband and I hired her to shoot our engagement session and wedding day. She's such a professional yet also has become a great friend. Elle spent a lot of time leading up to each photoshoot to ask me what mattered to my husband and I, scope out the locations of our photos, and come up with the perfect game plan. In addition she brought her A-game and unmatched talent for both occasions. I couldn't believe how many photos I loved from both shoots - looking through our photos makes me tear up and feel like I can relive every moment and emotion.     Elissa is beyond amazing. By lucky chance, we found her to photograph our engagement session and wedding. In the most intimate and silly of moments Elissa created a comfortable atmosphere to express ourselves. And the PHOTOS omg. What an honor to have such a special occasion captured by a literal artist!
