We are so thankful we had Joy Photo and Video for our wedding! From the very beginning, their energy was absolutely amazing—they kept everything light, fun, and effortless! Alexis Procick, our videographer, was a joy to work with and captured our day perfectly. We loved having her there to preserve all the special moments. The entire team at Joy Photo and Video was professional, responsive, and truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Highly recommend Alexis for an incredible videography experience, couldn't have asked for a better team!
Advertisement is amazing but not worth
Many of the photos delivered focused on non-meaningful subjects—such as a liquor bottle, a book on the table, and close-ups of the boutique and hairstylist—that seemed out of place and unaligned with the story and emotion we hoped to capture. Meanwhile, critical moments were missed or poorly executed, including: • Incomplete group photos of the wedding party • Few, if any, photos from the reception or dinner • A significant lack of meaningful shots of the bride and her son • The “first touch” moment was captured entirely from behind the bride, with no visible reaction or emotion • No posing direction or guidance was provided throughout the shoot, which left many guests and family members feeling unsure and unsupported • And most concerning, the wedding ring was picked up and dropped by the photographer without notice, only to be found later by a member of the wedding party—a careless oversight during a very important moment In addition, the agreed-upon shot list and planning discussed beforehand were not followed through, resulting in a gallery that felt disjointed and incomplete, with many missed opportunities to capture the emotion, energy, and joy of the day. While I understand that every event comes with its challenges, the issues described above reflect a lack of professionalism and preparation that I believe warrants serious attention. This day cannot be recreated, and the photography was meant to preserve memories we will carry for a lifetime. In light of these concerns, I am respectfully requesting that you consider a form of resolution—whether that be a partial refund, additional edits or re-touching (where possible), or another good faith gesture that acknowledges the significant gaps in service delivery. I am including original communication prior to the wedding which should have helped make these captures memorable and worth our time/expenses. Fast forward to today 8/19/2025, we were originally told that we would receive the videos in August. However, we have since been informed that the date is being pushed back again, with additional approval time required on top of that. This has now resulted in our first video being delayed by another two weeks, and the second video being pushed an additional two weeks beyond that. Given the challenges we have already experienced with the photography portion of our package, these continued delays are deeply frustrating and add further disappointment to an already sensitive matter. This event was one of the most important days of our lives, and we had trusted your services to capture and deliver those memories in a timely and professional way. Its extremely hard to get straight answers and it's hard to speak with someone directly.
