Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

I specialize in working with everyday couples — not models — and help them look amazing in natural, emotional, and artistic photos. I never leave you alone in front of the camera: I guide you through every pose, every moment, and every location, so you feel confident and cared for. I also deeply value the bond I build with each couple — to me, you’re not just clients, but new friends.     We are still in awe of our photos. Georgy did a beautiful job capturing our elopement and we could not be happier. He was an absolute joy to work with, equally excited during the planning process and incredibly kind, helpful, and so positive the day of. Neither of us are overly comfortable in front of the camera and Georgy did a fantastic job giving us directions and making us feel comfortable and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined. We were genuinely blown away when we saw our photos. His passion and love of photography shines through in the photos he takes and his eye for where to take photos is incredible. We’re so grateful to have had Georgy as our photographer and cannot recommend him enough. He helped us create such a uniquely wonderful experience for us from beginning to end and we have beautiful photos that we will cherish for a lifetime.

    Georgy is such an amazing photographer. He is really easy to work with and is flexible. When needing help to find locations, he would put in the time to help find a few and suggest them. We aren’t very photogenic. Georgy would help and teach us how to pose and stand. Very grateful for him to fix us during our photoshoots. I’d say, Georgy is very dedicated in his work. During our engagement photoshoot, he arrived early to the location scouting out perfect areas and snap a few pictures to test. Also, on the day of our wedding, the original location did not work out as planned. Georgy thought quickly on his feet and suggested another location that wasn’t too far away. We are so glad to have Georgy capture our special day for us! Thank you Georgy for your hard work and dedication!

    Georgy Shishkin Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Georgy was incredibly organized and communicated with us well in advance, which helped keep everything running smoothly on the big day. Our venue didn't have the best cell service, so we weren't able to confirm some last-minute details before the wedding, but Georgy went above and beyond by showing up early and making sure we were all on the same page. His calm and committed demeanor put us at ease, and we never felt rushed or stressed. The quality of Georgy's work is truly exceptional. There wasn't a single bad photo in the hundreds he provided - he has an incredible eye for capturing candid, perfectly-timed moments, as well as the intricate details that made our day so special. Somehow, he managed to blend in seamlessly, never distracting from the flow of the celebration. The variety of angles and perspectives he captured was really impressive for a single photographer. Georgy's early arrival allowed him to get a feel for the venue, and that preparation is evident in the beautiful, cohesive set of photos we received. He kept his cool even when our timeline got a bit off track, never missing a beat. We are so honored to have had the chance to work with such a talented, patient, and professional photographer. These pictures are truly delightful and stunning - we will cherish them forever. My husband and I are thrilled with the results, and we can't recommend Georgy Shishkin Photography enough!

    We had Georgy for our engagement pictures and the pictures turned out so great we HAD to have him for our wedding. Since we only really needed him for a couple hours I was able to negotiate with him the price and he is easy to talk to! Georgy was punctual, kind, and professional. Not to mention fast and efficient. We got our pictures within a week!you'd think that with that turn around time, the pictures wouldn't look as good, but I the groom, am a stickler for technical photography and he does very well! I would urge you to work with georgy for your wedding!
