We hired Chrissy, as our Day of Coordinator, and overall, the experience was positive. She was incredibly nice and helpful, especially when it came to managing last-minute details. Chrissy stepped in seamlessly to take over everything I spent a year planning and handling unexpected changes, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. However, one area of improvement would be the level of attention to some of our must-have moments. We would highly suggest requesting a second announcement for the cake cutting, as there was so much cake left over from a 4-tier cake and guests wanted to take some with them. Additionally, we felt that we didn’t get as much exposure or focus as we had hoped compared to other couples, other than a picture of the blank balcony, but Chrissy was still able to help. Despite these minor issues, Chrissy was professional, attentive, spunky, and genuinely committed to making our day special. We appreciate the effort and dedication put into the day of coordinating our wedding, especially since it was in the Panhandle.

Working with Brooklyn Rain Brides was an incredible experience! Finding Brooklyn felt like fate! She was everything we needed in a planner. As a queer, interracial couple with a super diverse group of friends and family, we were nervous about finding someone who would respect and celebrate us, but Allie was exactly what we needed and more. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. I cannot say enough great things about Lori! My sister wanted to have a backyard wedding on family property and was looking to put it together within a month timeline. I contacted Lori to discuss and help us with this process. Lori met with us and spent a gracious amount of time discussing my sister's options. She recommended looking into venues as she advised that backyard weddings can end up running higher price wise and can cause an undue amount of stress regarding weather and planning. Lori ended up taking us to a couple different venues, giving us a detailed tour and explanation of options and accommodations the venues provided. The venue my sister chose went above and beyond my sister's expectations for her wedding day and saved my sister a significant amount of money. Lori also put her in touch with a caterer, a bakery, a DJ, a photographer, and a hair stylist. Every single one of these vendors exceeded expectations and provided services within a month of booking. Lori's expertise allowed for a smooth and seamless wedding day. Her willingness to answer questions throughout the process, take our calls and texts, and her vendor recommendations helped make my sister's wedding a complete success and relieved an imense amount of stress on my family. Not only was Lori highly professional throughout this process, she was also extremely personable and a joy to work with. I've been lucky to have worked with Cook Event Planning on multiple weddings. As a Pastry Chef, creating the brides dream cake is always top priority. Iman is the icing on the cake. She is very easy to talk to/work with. Since she has a background in hospitality she understands the needs of the vendors as well as her brides. She makes sure that before the big day even arrives, that everything is taken care of and runs smoothly. She goes out of her way to make sure that as a vendor all communication between all parties is clear. The venue has everything they need from me ahead of time and they're ready when I arrive with the cake/desserts. She jumps in and helps with any setup if you need her to. She's always friendly and has the answers, and if she doesn't, you better believe she will find out within minutes! There's honestly not enough great things that I can say about Cook Event Planning!! Such a professional and organized business to work with. I look forward to partnering again in the future and using them for personal events as well. 10/10 I highly recommend!!

Victoria did an excellent job as our day-of coordinator! We decided late in the game that we needed help, and she swooped in and saved the day. A lot of our wedding was DIY and we were concerned about our family having to do all the set up and break down instead of enjoying the day but after a few phone calls, a shared doc and a handy binder, Victoria hit the ground running. She was there early and was the last one to leave that night, making sure we had everything we needed. Our guests loved her, we had a great night and even a bunch of video content from the day that she took for us. I’d strongly recommend her and her team!

Cassandra was such a perfect coordinator for my wedding! I discussed potential family issues that may arise on the day of the wedding (which did almost come to fruition), and her answer for how she’d handle the situation was what sealed the deal for me. She made sure my day went off perfectly. Absolutely perfectly. Literally nothing went wrong. I was fully prepared for the old saying of “something always goes wrong at a wedding” to happen. It never did. Cassandra made sure everything was just flawless. I also hired her for setup the day of, and she was able to take my DIY decor and make it look so classy and perfect for the vibe I wanted. She was super responsive every time I had a question and even made suggestions that were outside the box, but really enhanced the day and made it extra special.
