The Woolen Mill & The Silk Mill offer a unique piece of history as the perfect backdrop to any couple’s specific tastes and provide a timeless atmosphere. Both venues were originally factory buildings in 1800s, and today the spaces provide an open and inviting space for 50-300 guests while still providing a personal and intimate setting. Above ALX Community is a premier rooftop venue in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, just two blocks off of charming King Street. The Terrace features a patio covered by a pergola, which can accommodate an intimate seated ceremony or reception. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

The Brickhouse RVA is a multipurpose event space located in the heart of downtown Richmond, Virginia on West Broad Street. We were built with your event in mind which makes our space perfect for your party! We have room for your vendors to set up and serve, tables and chairs included in your rental, and so much more.

The Wharf Dockmaster Building is located at the end of District Pier and your rental includes the space on the pier around it. You have wrap around balconies and 270 degree views of the river and boats, plus the Washington Monument. Your rental gives you the building for the day so you can do any advance decorating, load in etc. It is unfurnished space – typically your caterer will coordinate tables, chairs etc. and help you design the look you want. Our inside capacity is typically 100 seated dinner style or 140-150 standing cocktail style.
