Dance Wedding 11/08/25
Our first experience with LFB was in November 2023 for a friend’s wedding. My boyfriend and I at the time had started talking about the next step and how perfect this location was for a wedding. We ended up reaching out to Duncan in February 2024 to ask for a tour. Duncan gave us the full tour including the on property guest house, and we were SOLD! We signed our contract and paid the deposit that weekend. Duncan and Suzanne are so wonderful to work with too! They work with you on breaking down payments for when things are due and respond within 24 hours. As we got closer to our wedding date Duncan let us come out and tour everything again and answered all of my last minute questions. Suzanne was amazing at communicating day of lists and clean up. During our set up on Friday, Duncan came over to make sure the AC was good and if we needed anything. They had the tables and chairs closet unlocked and ready for us to set up when we got there. They give you a 4 hour window for rehearsal time but are very willing to work with you if you need more. The day of our wedding they had onsite staff to help with any issues and make sure everything went smooth on their end. Duncan personally came over after our ceremony and congratulated us and joined our celebration for some pictures. If you want a nice quiet spacious venue with amazing views, perfect golden hour picture spots, and awesome owners this is your place! Beautiful Wedding Venue
I recently had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding at Lake Fungs Barn in Prince George, VA, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The venue perfectly combines rustic elegance with natural beauty, creating a dream-like setting for couples who want a barn-style wedding with a stunning lakeside view. The moment you drive up to the property, you are greeted by beautiful views of the serence lake, which sets the stage for a romantic celebration. The barn itself is a masterpiece - charming yet modern, with high ceilings, plenty of windows and space for both the ceremony and the reception, The outdoor ceremony area, right by the lake, made for a picturesque backdrop that looked incredible in photos. The staf at Lake Fungs Barn were professional and attentive, ensuring every detail of the wedding ran smoothly. They went above and beyond to create a seamless experience for the wedding party and their guests, and you could tell they took great pride in maintaining the property to the highest standards. What really sets this venue apart is the combination of its tranquil lakeside setting and warm, rustic vibe of the barn, It's a venue that perfectly balances the peacefulness of nature with the sophistication of a well-designed event space. Whether you're planning a large celebration or an imtimate gathering, Lake Fungs Barn has everything you need for a magical wedding day. It's the kind of place where memories are made with a perfect backdrop for a storybook wedding.
Beautiful Rustic Barn with A View!
My husband and I just had our wedding here. The views and barn are breathtaking! Spacious inside and outside. The covered patio is great for cocktail hour, the outside stone patio overlooking the lake made for amazing pictures and a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, and the inside of the barn is rustic and beautiful in every aspect. The bride and groom suites upstairs where we got ready were the perfect size. I really liked the fact that we could both get ready at the same place that we were having our wedding. And it was built well enough that him and I did not see each other until I was walking down the aisle! The only things we didn't really like was there were some large chunks of gravel on the gravel drive coming in that we were worried about, it is very dark coming down the drive at night (expected but maybe add some lights) and there could have been more signage. We also hired Esther Fung as our wedding planner and she was absolutely fantastic! She was very detailed and kept us on track. We are very indecisive but we never felt pressured to make a decision. She did so much research for us and ensured that we got what we needed from each vendor. She was on point with communication and got back to us with answers to questions quickly. The day of our wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was where they were supposed to be. If you're planning on having your wedding here, I highly suggest asking Esther to be your wedding planner. This is an absolutely beautiful, well built venue to have any kind of ceremony at!
Lake Fungs Barn Venue
The wedding at the lake was absolutely stunning and the venue was able to accommodate a large group of people. The barn is new, clean, and beautifully built from floor to ceiling. Guests can walk around the lake grounds into the evening hours to make for a magical evening or stay inside and dance and eat. Whether you choose to get married inside or out, there are so many settings that are wonderful and convenient for guests and the bridal party alike. This venue was phenomenal overall!
