Here at Pleasant View Farm we do weddings a bit different than some venues. Here you get a wedding weekend and a B&B experience! After all we are a bed and breakfast inn. The property is yours for 3 days. The day before your wedding to set up and decorate just how you like and then time for your rehearsal. We ask that everything is cleared up and out the day after your wedding by 3PM. This allows you your wedding day to enjoy and get ready and have fun with your family and friends. Included in the wedding weekend are 3 outdoor ceremony sites, 2 barns one for your reception and one for in case your outdoor ceremony needs to move indoor, 2 patios for cocktail hour, tables and chairs, and our guest cottage with overnight accommodations for 6 guests for both nights plus breakfast. My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.
