Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared Texas barbecue and rustic Italian inspired dishes is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve our community. After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Winners of "Best in Show" and "Best Entrée" at Taste of Western Lancaster County 2025 for our brisket, pulled pork and peach cobbler!

We're not hired to simply provide and serve food. We provide the bride, groom and their guests with a memorable dining experience for them to truly enjoy as they gather around the table to celebrate and honor the beginning of their lives together. Our work is our worship. We aim to bring glory to God by serving you with excellence. Every wedding is sacred and worthy of our best efforts. A portion of profits go to feeding the homeless and funding missions though our church. NO SEED OILS! Quality is non-negotiable. We cook all of our prepared dishes exclusively with olive oil, avocado oil, and tallow.

We had Luongo BBQ cater our wedding and they were AMAZING! Right from the beginning when we met them at a taste testing Chuck and Mollie were personable and told us their story, and their food was the best BBQ we have ever had! All our guests at the wedding were raving about it! Additionally, they helped my family with a decoration issue right before the reception. Truly kind people with great service and delicious food! We would recommend them to everyone! We would give them more stars if we could!

From the very first communication to the last bite served on our big day, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The food was beyond delicious—our guests are still raving about the brisket and Mac n cheese!! Everything came out hot and fresh! Luongo Barbecue was the perfect caterer for our wedding! From the very beginning, their communication was consistent, friendly, and fast. They were incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they arrived and set everything up seamlessly - I didn't even know they were there, which is exactly what a bride wants on her special day. And the food? Amazing! Delicious and consistent, it was a huge hit with all of our guests. People are still raving about it days later and wishing they could have taken some home. I would recommend Luongo Barbecue 100% - they were so understanding and attentive throughout the entire process. Their amazing service and incredible food made our wedding day that much more special.

I cannot recommend them enough! From our very first message we felt like they truly cared to help us make our day special. They were fast to respond to any questions we had along the way and worked with our budget to make the most out of it. We had so many people compliment and rave about the food! Even our family that came from the south and tend to be picky with their barbecue fell in love. If you’re looking around for options, you can stop now because they are the ones!
