Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared Texas barbecue and rustic Italian inspired dishes is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve our community. After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Winners of "Best in Show" and "Best Entrée" at Taste of Western Lancaster County 2025 for our brisket, pulled pork and peach cobbler!

We're not hired to simply provide and serve food. We provide the bride, groom and their guests with a memorable dining experience for them to truly enjoy as they gather around the table to celebrate and honor the beginning of their lives together. Our work is our worship. We aim to bring glory to God by serving you with excellence. Every wedding is sacred and worthy of our best efforts. A portion of profits go to feeding the homeless and funding missions though our church. NO SEED OILS! Quality is non-negotiable. We cook all of our prepared dishes exclusively with olive oil, avocado oil, and tallow.

Texas barbecue in Pennsylvania? Yes, it's possible. Luongo Barbecue recently relocated from Texas to PA, and we went out on a limb to book them without actually trying any of their food prior to the wedding. It may have been a risk, but it paid off even more than we could have imagined. The service was spectacular, and the food was top-notch. We've been eating the leftovers for the last week, and we still can't get enough. No matter what food you get from Luongo Barbecue, you will be extremely happy, but MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SMOKED CHICKEN NUGGETS!

We hired Luongo Barbecue to cater a small family party (35 people) at our home. We are so happy we did! The food was delicious, Chuck and his wife were incredible to work with, and they made delivery and setup a breeze. We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, baked ziti, mac and cheese, potato salad, baked beans, and charcuterie board. Everything was incredible! Our guests were impressed, and we were happy to have partnered with Luongo Barbecue so that we could enjoy ourselves and not worry about the food. It was worth every penny. The charcuterie board was so beautiful it was almost too pretty to eat!

Luongo Barbecue was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was fast, understanding, and quick - they were always responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The quality of their work and value was outstanding - they were highly organized, the food was absolutely delicious, and their team was quick and friendly. They made the process of getting our plates so easy, and they made sure to come introduce themselves to the bride and groom and tell us congratulations. I would highly recommend Luongo Barbecue to any couple looking for an exceptional catering experience for their wedding.

Luongo BBQ is a small business with HEART. Their barbecue is insanely good, fantastic sides, and a lovely charcuterie spread! They are also amazing people who were so ready to help in any way, and made our wedding meal a true highlight!! Where most caterers would not work within our budget, Luongo was so accommodating, gave us options so we could adjust our choices to what we could afford, and were on-site, setting up, serving, and even packed up the leftovers into containers we brought. I (the bride) also passed them on my way to walk down the aisle and they were so kind and hyped me up when I really needed it. PLEASE do yourself a favor and book them! They are a wonder to work with!!!!
