Our barn uses centuries - old techniques and traditions of joining heavy timber frames with a mortise and tenon method, supported by wooden pegs and brackets. While building an old style building and incorporating all of today's amenities, such as temperature controlled environment, lighting, plumbing and plenty of parking it makes the perfect place for your venue.

The historic Horse & Hound is a 12-bedroom lodge in the White Mountains that is perfect for an intimate micro-wedding or grand affair. Guests have easy access to some of the northeast's best hiking, and mountain and road biking. In 1865, after a stagecoach crash, two travelers were welcomed by William and Mary Jane Dodge, who later opened Mountain View House. Over generations, the resort expanded, hosting celebrities and presidents. It closed in 1986 but was revived in 2002 as Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, offering luxury and hospitality surrounded by the White Mountains.
