About this venue

Back in 1997, our family took a creaky old historic home and gave it a new life—as a fine dining restaurant built around the things we love most: wild mushrooms and Oregon wine. Not just any wine, either—we’ve got the largest collection of Oregon wine you’ll find in a restaurant anywhere in the world. This is a place for couples who want a warm, intimate and tailor-made wedding with the ones they love most . It’s for those who believe the best memories are made over a table with excellent food, great wine and wonderful conversation. If your idea of a wedding is to celebrate with like-minded food and wine lovers, you’ll feel right at home here.

Description

We curate tailor-made celebrations based on our clients’ preferences. However, all celebrations include food, beverage, ceremony setup, bridal dressing room, staffing, standard dining tables/chairs, china, glassware, linens, overhead bulb lighting, and an amplified music system (indoor/outdoor). If you wish to employ outside vendors to enhance your wedding, our team will happily provide our preferred vendor list but know you are free to choose whomever you wish to bring your vision to life.

    The Joel Palmer House Restaurant was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was clear, up front and honest - they were open and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They worked closely with our other vendors to coordinate the event, and even created a specialty menu to accommodate our guests with gluten allergies and vegan diets. Chris and the whole team at the Joel Palmer House are the kindest, warmest, and most talented folks in the business! We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.
