Lavender Owl Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues to work with. The staff are always sweet, attentive, and professional. They are eager to please and are always looking for ways to improve the experience for their couples. The beautiful grounds are huge and feature various trees. It provides rustic yet elegant backdrops, and the different spaces around the property create a great flow for the wedding day events. As a photographer, I love the different textures and colors the variety of trees offers, especially in the fall when the foliage is stunning. I also love the free-roaming chickens and their occasional surprise entrance during the ceremony or reception! The staff is always present and available, ready to assist and ensure everything runs smoothly. They are also well-connected in the industry and have great resources to make the day special.

We had our 55-person wedding ceremony and reception at Rae Loft, and couldn’t be happier with how the evening went. Emily, the owner, was also our day-of coordinator (and has years of experience as an event planner), which made our planning process much easier given that we had not hired a wedding planner. Emily was thorough and dedicated to helping us realize our vision. She went above and beyond with decorating the event space, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring things ran smoothly. Many guests commented upon how beautiful the venue was and the lovely floral arrangements (which Emily arranged). We can’t imagine having pulled this wedding off without Emily’s help. We highly recommend Rae Loft and Emily’s coordination services to anyone wanting to host a special event! Thank you Emily for the dedication and care that you put into our day!

We got married at Parrett Mountain Cellars on March 13th, 2025, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We were looking for a venue that felt rustic, intimate, and beautiful, and Parrett Mountain Cellars absolutely delivered. From the moment we toured the property, we knew it was the right choice. The setting has a warm woodland lodge charm, stunning views, and a cozy yet elegant feel that made it perfect for both our ceremony and reception. A huge part of what made our day so special was Sara and Marlene. They were incredibly supportive, communicative, and flexible throughout the planning process. Their attention to detail and thoughtful preparation (including backup plans for unpredictable Oregon spring weather!) helped us feel completely at ease. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the gorgeous views and delicious wine. Everything about the venue felt personal and welcoming, without any of the stress or fuss you sometimes hear about with wedding planning. We wholeheartedly recommend Parrett Mountain Cellars to any couple looking for a hassle-free venue with heart, beauty, and that perfect touch of Pacific Northwest magic.

Our wedding in Abigail’s Garden was such a wonderful experience. The staff, the food, and the grounds were all fantastic. The weekend rate was out of our budget but we were able to cut the cost in half by booking a Thursday. The only downside to the venue was that we weren’t able to have a true rehearsal until the day of, and we weren’t able to access the venue until 3:30pm without paying more. I would do it all over again if I could!

Our location is on 12.6 acres of land on the Little Applegate River. The property is home to a small winery and tasting room, Wild Wines, and residents. We can’t recommend Gorges Beer Co as a venue highly enough. Travis and Kelli (especially Kelli!!!) were an absolute dream to work with. The whole team created a seamless experience for us on our big day, even pivoting last-minute to host us inside when it was much colder/wetter than anticipated (May in the gorge, am I right??). From tables/chairs to tablecloths, flatware, decorations, and CATERING, they took the guesswork (and work in general!) out of most of our planning experience. The food is also FIRE, y’all. However, the most thoughtful and wonderful part of our package was hands-down getting to brew our own beer served on our wedding day. That was an unforgettable experience that we’ll treasure. We feel like we lucked all the way out getting to have Gorges as our wedding venue in 2024, and I am thrilled for all couples who will make the best choice to get married there in the future! Photos by @katiehphoto (whom I also highly recommend!).

Navarra Gardens was such a wonderful place for our wedding! We absolutely loved the stunning scenery and the option to get ready on site. It rained on our big day, but Karen was very helpful in passing out umbrellas, making sure guests stayed dry, and handling the chaos of transitioning into the covered event hall. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides catering services
  • Rustic yet refined style
  • Provides lighting and sound
We’re wedding photographers and videographers that recently got the chance to document a wedding at Mt. Hood Meadows. They’re such a unique and fun venue with incredible views of the mountain. One of our favorite aspects was that the entire resort was closed to the public for the day, meaning no random people were able to interrupt the ceremony or reception. They took such good care of our clients, their guests, and us. They escorted us to some beautiful hidden spots for portraits that we wouldn’t have known about if it weren’t for them. From when we arrived prior to the ceremony until we left late that night, their staff was always checking in to make sure our clients had everything they needed to have the best wedding experience. They were so helpful in keeping things moving according to the timeline, always had snacks and drinks ready for the couple, and troubleshooted the few small hiccups in a timely manner and with grace.

The Hall's rounded and layered design allows for every wedding to feel like an intimate affair, be it seven people or 700. Beneath the Sanctuary Hall are many more multi-use rooms, including a banquet hall, commercial kitchen, chapel library, multiple dressing rooms. We have a fully functional pipe organ, one of the largest in Oregon, and a 7' Steinway Grand piano at your disposal. As an all-inclusive venue, we include staffing, setup, use of rentals (tables, chairs, linens, etc), clean-up, and an event specialist team to assist you with every package!

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
My wife and I wanted to get married in a beautiful space, but we didn't want to be forced into a traditional, religious ceremony. Sanctuary Hall was the perfect venue! It's beautiful, with stained glass, old wood, lots of space, even a balcony. It's a very old building, with a good feeling to it. As soon as we saw it, it was easy to picture our ceremony there. Steve was a joy to work with - he was super-accommodating, the paperwork was simple, and he offered us all the options we needed. Additionally, the price was far less than most other places we had looked at. There was a minister available if we wanted, but we chose to have an ordained friend perform the service, which worked out fine. Steve was willing to move around furniture, let us use whichever rooms we wanted for preparation, changing, signing of documents, and so on. There was also an organist – Grant – available for the service. He was also amazing to work with, coming up with arrangements of music for us. Everyone was able to meet for a rehearsal a few weeks before the ceremony, which helped things run smoothly. The actual ceremony was beautiful, with everything coming together as planned. They even rang the bell for us as we left the church :) I highly recommend Sanctuary Hall to anyone looking for an amazing space in Portland. Easy to get to, garage parking nearby, and just an all-around excellent experience. ----- This review was produced without the use of AI, generative technology, grammar-checking/suggesting software, chatbots, or other assistive tools, other than a simple spell checker. We rented The Cave - their smaller outdoor venue - and it fit our vision for the day perfectly. It felt rustic and secluded without having to drive an hour outside of Portland, and it was simply gorgeous. Natasha who we worked with for the year in the lead up was phenomenal - we felt listened to and taken care of with her. We're so happy to have had our special day at the Aerie!!
