For the past 9 years, she has led the growth for the Events Department at the Hemingway Home & Museum, a top destination wedding venue in the Florida Keys. As their lead wedding planner, Vicky has masterminded a myriad of weddings ranging from casual to opulent and everything in between. She retired from that position earlier in 2022 to pursue her career as a wedding planner solely on her own to be able to work with couples at all wedding venues in Key West and the Florida Keys.

I cannot recommend Vicky Furman Events enough!!! Vicky was the best wedding planning decision we made... She pours her heart and soul into each wedding she plans (just look at her Instagram), and this was evident in the planning of our special day in Key West at Casa Marina April 2025. We utilized her full planning services, meeting every other week for a full year. Vicky kept us on track and poured COUNTLESS hours into planning our wedding weekend. We immediately clicked with her – we knew and loved that there was no B.S. to be had mixed with a lot of fun and love! Planning a destination wedding may be daunting especially when it is time to choose important vendors – Vicky made everything easy and provided amazing vendor recommendations along the way. Each vendor we worked with shared with us their highest respect for Vicky, always impressed with her planning work and leadership. Not only was Vicky our planner, but she was also our advocate and became our friend in the wedding industry – this quality we learned is incredibly important to have in a wedding planner. Vicky committed to planning the wedding of our dreams, and that it exactly was. She brought our vision to life, and then some. Because of Vicky, our wedding planning process was smooth, full of fun and laughter, and most importantly we had the best wedding day of our lives, without any stress. If you are getting married in Key West or the Florida Keys… you need the BEST of the best, Vicky Furman!

If I could give Vicky and team 10 stars I would. I cannot say enough of the value this team made in the creation of this day from the ideation process to design, through to execution. I put a longer review on google reviews for more info, but I thoroughly can’t reiterate to couples to get a planner if you’re doing a destination. And one you can trust to hold your hand through the process and has connections and ideas local to the area you may not be aware of. It’s so worth the money to have someone well connected ie: can save you money in other areas. Vicky and team made this the best day (& party!!) for all my closest friends and family. The experience they gave to us will be cherished for a lifetime!

Vickey is absolutely incredible to have in your corner going into your wedding day. On the day of my wedding, I did not worry at all about any potential issues or setbacks as I knew Vicky would fix it immediately. Vicky and her assistant, Acey, were so helpful in keep our timeline (which they made) on track and communicating/setting up with vendors on the day of. Vicky was the best investment of my wedding as she saved me money with other vendors and countless issues that I never could have imaged. Truly, Vicky was the most kind, helpful, and effective wedding planner and coordinator I could have asked for! I highly recommend Vicky Furman Events and know they are the best financial decision you can make in your wedding planning process.
