When it came time to plan our own wedding, we quickly realized that the planner we had hired did not understand our vision. We paid a premium for her non refundable services, but it became clear that our wishes were being overlooked in favor of her own agenda. Frustrated, we decided to take control, starting from scratch with just four weeks left before our wedding. We found a new venue, selected vendors, and crafted every single detail ourselves.
