Pinewood Baking is a custom order dessert company located in SeaTac, Washington, and run out of my home. I am a fully licensed cottage home permit-run bakery (regulated by the Washington State Department of Agriculture). I am insured as well and can provide documentation for your venue.😊

I started baking cakes six years ago in Milton Massachusetts for a non-profit called "Birthday Cakes 4 Free" my family would bake and deliver cakes to children and seniors who were not able to afford a cake on their special day. During that time, it really allowed me to find my own style. I can now say with confidence, that my aesthetics is PNW inspired! I don't use fondant, and I try my hardest to incorporate the seasons most beautiful fresh organic flowers.

A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.
