Christine planned out the timeline for the entire event with me a week before the big day. Christine is a wonderful listener and was able to provide insightful suggestions to make sure the day was a stress-free as possible. Because of her years of experience, her advice really changed the course of the event in positive ways. Moments before the outdoor ceremony, the skies opened up and there was a downpour. The venue switched the ceremony to inside. Christine and her second photographer adapted to the situation as if that was the way the ceremony was originally planned. My dad was recovering from major surgery the day of the wedding. My father-in-law and godmother were also recovering from medical issues. Four days before the wedding, my husband came down with a nasty virus. Christine and her employee were able to capture everyone with a smile and with their best foot forward. “Rob was sooo amazing! Long story short, we hired him for our wedding but we ended up moving our states wedding to destination. We asked if we can put our deposit towards an engagement shoot instead. He did such an amazing job and he was so prepared day of. He bought his equipment and even a DRONE!! We went to two locations, the American Museum of Natural History and the Castle on the Upper West side of Central Park. He let us be us but also posed us. We felt at ease and taken care of. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”
