Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. The dance hall is fashioned after the famous Gruene Hall. Are dance hall is complete with a bar and stage. Attached is a silo with a grill and we are ready to bread your dream menu. We have a Bridal suite where you and your bridesmaids can get ready for your big day also a Grooms Casino suite for the guys. Say "I do" under our Heritage oak tree! What better way to say your "I do" then under our 350 year old oak tree that is 120 feet wide. At the heart of the tree is a stage for the couple to say there "I do". We have so many more amenities to offer from reception kitchen, church, movie theater, school house. Rustic barn and lodging come soon too.

In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. We believe that the focus of any celebration should be on the joy you share with the people you love, so we’re here to take care of some of the details. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers multiples rooms and a mirrored salon. The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features family-made stained-glass and antique pews. The chapel sides can open to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 242 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.
