Hillcrest Orchards is an ideal location for a ceremony or a reception. The 90-acre orchard features a historic, 2300 sq. ft. barn and two 24 x 32’ pavilions joined by a brick patio area. Built in 1936, the barn was used to sort and package apples up until 1980 and has recently been renovated to accommodate up to 160 guests complete with restrooms.

The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Word of mouth spread of how delicious the meat was and it was quite a conversation piece. Established in 1969, the 50-acre parcel in Brunswick with nothing more than an old barn and a dream. The barn, originally built in 1869, became the foundation for a Ski Lodge, but would ultimately become the event center that it is today. Although many updates and renovations have taken place over the last 50 years the original barn remains intact, and its beams are still visible in the hall. Over the years Skyview Lodge has held countless events. The building was renovated again in 2001 to expand its capacity and continue building upon the success of the hall rentals. Hot tea, coffee, cream, and sweetners are provided. Salt and pepper and ice water are provided for the tables. We provide two dispensers for drinks. You can hire a caterer or bring your own food. This building was built in 1861 and is located in the heart of downtown Galion. It has it's original brick and a tin ceiling in the lounge. All of our 19 wines are handcrafted and offer a variety wide enough to satisfy any pallet. Couples have the option to have their picture and name on the bottles for a special touch.
