“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

Alex was spot-on day-of, getting all the sound right, music selection, lights, etc. He also had experience working with many of the other vendors we hired, and so he worked directly with them to coordinate. Biggest thing though was his flexibility with adding and adjusting the contract in the lead-up, and providing recommendations for music, lighting, and set-up. Alex is truly passionate about his profession, and I'd highly recommend working with him for any occasion where you need an experienced DJ.”

Right when our ceremony was about to happen, we had a tornado warning with massive downpours and a loss of power that delayed our wedding. Greg luckily had a battery back up that he was able to use for the ceremony, up until the power came back on. We are so thankful he was prepared for this delay.
