“First of all my Husband and I wanted our guests to be comfortable and enjoy good food and vibes and Rachel and Phyllis made that happen. They offered great food choices to which we went with food stations... my Aunt is still talking about the mac and cheese station. We tasted quite a few and you can not go wrong with any of them. My Husband is a trained chef and he was so excited about how good everything was. I mean, delicious. In honor of my Dad they also created a ice cream sandwhich station, letting me pick all the choices I wanted. I am so grateful. We got married at The California Botanical Garden in Claremont. We chose our ceremony at the California court yard and our reception at the Lewis family forest pavilion. It was perfect. Rachel and Phyllis let us walk the venue as often as needed/wanted. They worked beautifully with our vendors and our family and friends who were helping with some set up. The whole time Rachel helped me, even when she did not need to. All the way to the point that she held up the back of my dress as we were leaving so it did not get dirty. It ended up raining on my wedding night and the team got all of us covered and my guest were able to sit and be dry and enjoy all the food stations. Miracle workers. In planning they were excellent too, all the colors and different ideas of plates, napkins, etc. They helped me plan it out so well. Thank you Rachel and Phyllis, anyone would be in good hands with you two and your team.”

For cocktail hour, I unfortunately, did not get to the baja grazing table before it was ravaged by my guests hahaha, but everyone I spoke to regarding the grazing table said it was amazing! And then I literally cannot stop thinking about the lemon ricotta crostini. I still get comments specifically about it from friends to this day. All the passed appetizers were so good and then dinner was even better. The staff the day of was amazing and had a plate ready for my husband and I as soon as we sat in our seats at reception. The Italian focus of the menu was nothing short of spectacular. The meatballs were unforgettable and seasoned in a way that had even the Italians in the room nodding with approval. Several guests commented that they were the best meatballs they'd ever tasted. The rigatoni with Bolognese sauce was rich, hearty and layered with authentic flavor, and the chicken cutlets with lemon and Parmesan were both stars of the evening-- so delicious that guests were going back for seconds (and thirds). To finish the night, dessert was a sweet surprise of tiramisu with whipped mascarpone and aginetti sprinkle cookies. Star Valley Foods delivered more than just a meal; they created an experience that elevated our celebration and left every one of our guests raving.
